Is there a different type of ink, as when used on the back of certain papers, the ink stays wet for several days, which is not acceptable..

If you bought the original branded ink pads it should not cause any issues however, it depends on what paper you are using this on. If it is a coated paper then it may not dry.

The old pad didn't have hooks. Does this matter that this obe does? Thanks

They should just pop off, they are a new design but do retro fit. There should be instructions on back of the 'Thank You' note we enclosed with the pad. Regards, Paul
