Q: Why isn't there any wiring pictures

No wiring diagram because it is all plug and go. Easy to install.

Q: Why dont i have power even though connected straight to battery correctly

1. Please connect the red wire to the positive, and the black wire to the negative pole of the engine battery. 2. Open the switch, and you can see the indicator light turn red. (If the light kit can't light up, you need to press the remote ON/OFF button. Also can contact with our customer service, we will help to solve this issue)

Q: Can the brake function be disabled?

You don't have to hook the brakes upto light up. It's a pretty cut and dry install very easy in my opinion. They are well worth it!!

Q: Do they need to be on to have them run red for brake lights to work ?

you should connect the blue wire (brake wire) to the positive/negative pole of the vehicle's brake light. When you step on the brake, all lights will turn red normally.
