This was a gift to my husband who loves old songs. He used to play songs on the YouTube that required lot of thinking and interruption. With Carvaan, he can purely enjoy the songs. No more thinking or YouTube ads. Also, it brought back so many songs that he said he already forgot about. The size is just perfect to carry wherever you go. The style and premium Colours are awesome to keep it on coffee table without making the house look dated 😊. Amazing stress reliever after long day. My husband loves this product. My father-in law also ordered one. The best part is we no longer need to order it from India. I wish the gold edition can be available on Amazon Canada as well.

This product is a dream come true for the lovers of classic popular Hindi music, especially vintage Hindi film music. One star is reduced for the tinny sounding speakers, though it can be connected to an external speaker (I hope..., not tried yet). It is also noted that the albums contain only those songs for which Saregama holds the copyright.

The concept is great. We got this for my uncle in the hospital, to help pass time with some music. I think for the high price point, the sound quality could be *much* better. Sure when you’re listening to older songs you don’t need a great speaker, but when listening to more modern music you’ll notice the speaker misses a lot of mid-range and bass. There are $20-$30 Bluetooth speakers that have great sound quality so it is possible.
