Cheap, does the job, and as advertised. Relatively small so good for storage for someone who solders time to time.

Amazing brass bush, keep your tip shiny
Amazing brass bush, if you woud like your tip nice and shiny this is the brass bush for you!. Remeber to tin your shiny tip before turning off your iron to save your tip from oxidising :-) So much better than those fake brass coloured bushes out there... try the magnet test, if your bush is attracted to the magnet, you need this Hakko tip cleaner, it's the best around!

Genuine product
Be careful buying these, as some of them are copper-plated steel wool. Hard to believe that making that is cheaper than making the real thing, but clearly it is. Anyway, I knackered my last soldering iron bit by making that mistake. So as soon as this stuff turned up I tested it with a magnet, and it's definitely the real thing.

Works as described
To be honest I have never tried another tip cleaner, but that is only because I have never had to! I use a Hakko FX-851 with an FM2028 iron with a T15-D12 chisel tip and I have not needed to change it in 3 years thanks to this tip cleaner (and taking extra vigilant care of my tools of course!). Still going strong!

Cheap hard plastic
Very poor quality .made from the cheapest materiaals bought a mains adapter and I the bonnrction was rubbish for me it sealed its return ,for portable machine it’s quality was very bad ,I returned mine for a refund While it still could be under amazons return policy

Man kann sein Lötzinn sehr gut daran loswerden und auch die Messingwatte leicht austauschen bzw. reinigen / lötzinn rausholen. Der Topf steht fest und rutscht nicht hin und her. Preis / Leistung ist ok.

This is really good and cool looking. It works well because it removes excess solder from the tip of the soldering iron without cooling it. My soldering instantly improved by using this
