Perfect and strong joints
Great piece of kit for helping to align and join wood. I needed it to help make a few table tops, it made it extremely easy to achive a flat top and strong join. High quality makita product as usual

Quality and precise
Having used various biscuit joining systems from router bits to cheaper jointers, this is far better and precise. I only buy bare units in the LXT and CXT range due to having 5 or 6 batteries of each. Its well worth its price if your doing a lot of carpentry or cabinet making etc.

Brilliant tool that does the job perfectly
I wasn't sure about this item when I bought it, but when I received it and tried out, it was different story.I don't know why I didn't buy I earlier, it's brilliant, does the job and is stable and accurate. Can't recommend enough, well worth the money.

Does the job.
I used the cordless jointer on various softwood species and was very satisfied with its performance. The battery lasted a long time, and the jointer worked efficiently.Unfortunately, I encountered problems when using it on oak and beech. Even with a full battery and the dust extraction system open, the jointer power was barely sufficient. I also discovered that the sawdust extraction system is undersized and clogs up quickly.Overall, I'm somewhat disappointed with the saw's performance on harder wood species, but it's definitely recommended for softwood.

Makita 18v cordless Biscuit Jointer.
Best biscuit jointer ever owned in 46 years of been a cabinet maker. Weighted and powered purfectly by one 18v battery. Appearence is high quility components that can't be beaten.

Very easy to use.
Been wanting one for a long time, very easy to set up and use and very accurate, does need to be attached to a vacuum though, did some oak with just the bag attached and it got clogged up just after a couple of cuts.
