AQUANEAT Shrimp Net, Fish Net Aquarium, Fish Tank Net with Extendable Stainless Steel Handle

We were looking for a smaller circumference net (to navigate around structures and plants) but with a telescoping handle because our tank is relatively tall. This is perfect! The telescoping segment slides smoothly and it’s held up great so far. The netting is fine so it does filter out a lot of debris. Anytime we use it I leave it fully extended until it dries just so that I don’t seal the moisture up in the handle. I also appreciate the fact it has something by which to hang it up. I set up a little area with water resistant contact paper up against the wall (protect from water) with a plastic tray underneath (catch drips) and command hooks to hang all of our supplies on.

A big improvement over my cheap nets. The telescoping handle and fine mesh makes it super easy to catch shrimp and move them to another container. Just pop right out whereas previously they would have to work a bit to get free from conventional nets. Worth it!

It works well but also folds in on itself often so it can easily smoosh small fish if you’re not careful! Otherwise it’s nice and compact and I like that it extends!

Works great and the right size

I used to use a bigger net but this smaller one is much better. Also, the netting is so fine, very little chance of damaging fragile tails and gills. Really glad I made this purchase.
