Cable issue.
I looked kit over not to sure I want to use a RG-8u cable on this 25 watt transmitter. I looked on Amazon and could find syu 50-5-2 cable or syu 50-3-2 cable. I found syu cable on on Aliexpress for $38.00 bucks or 50-5-2 for $79 bucks. Thinner cable might burn unit out or burn up the cable.

Range with 5w transmitter.
I get about a mile of solid range with this antenna on the roof, and a 5w CZH transmitter. Driving around to test range, I found some line of site hotspots where signal was good more than 2 miles away. It seems well made, and easy to setup.
