When I opened the pack, I thought this was going to come up short, and put the phone too far away, but as it turned out, It's a perfect Fit on the dash of my Jaguar X-Type.You can bend the bar at really tight angles to get the prefect fit, and the suction cup really clamps onto the windscreen tight, it survived the summer and winter with ease.You are going to want to use it with the support cup on the dash though, being this long it would wobble about without it.The included plates fitted in my phone case nicely. Getting the right angle out of the triangular head is not so easy though, if it isn't a perfect alignment, the phone will tend to twist as you drive along, it takes while to rotate it to an angle that will stay put on long journeys. once it's there it will stay put forever though.This could do with a 4 magnet rectangular head on the arm to hold the phone better.My case is the magnetic type that comes out of the wallet, and it took a few tries to get the plate in the right place so the magnets didn't interfere with the ones in my case.The head on the arm is small enough you can use your phone's camera for a dash cam, or the Augmented Reality feature on my Sat Nav software, and the arm itself can be positioned so it doesn't interfere with your view.

I had bought this so I could position my phone a bit higher on the car for GPS usage. I currently have another system with a magnet that works really well and has never caused any problems. However, this device simply does not work. The magnet you have to place on the phone is too strong and caused my phone to stop working! For a few minutes I thought the phone was broken as it went black and I could not get it to work, then I removed the magnet and the phone was fine again. This, in effect, makes the product unusable. I tried to give it a few tries but the same thing always happened. As I said, I have another product that uses a magnet and this has never happened so it clearly is something specific to this product. Anyway, avoid as it will only cause you problems.

We use these exclusively at our courier company, keeps hold of heavy weight work phones in Sprinter vans through country lanes, farm tracks and unmade roads. The only drawback is the magnet plate won't stick well on a phone which doesn't have a flat back like the Blackviews. (More a design flaw of that phone imo)Durability is unreal, for personal use it will out live your car

The magent side of this holder works great however the suction cup used to attach to the window really embarrassed its own name in that it totally SUCKS couldn't even hold its own weight for more than one maybe two mins at a time. I have completely ditched the holder and just kept the magnet part and used with another (much cheaper) holder which works fantastically

Good quality in general. But almost returned as it didn’t suck on the front window. As I have been looking for a while for a phone holder that suits my car vent, I decided to try again. It worked only when I turn it around. Apart from this problem, all seem good. Didn’t bother contacting the seller for a return or exchange.

I love this phone holder! It’s so easy to install, the suction is fantastic! Love the extra sucker for the dash to stabilise it. Magnet is super strong for holding phone. Love the gooseneck type movement for ensuring a great view of SatNav/screen whilst driving.

If you are a courier and need the maps on phone, this is superb. Probably designed better for vans as the stick is quite long from screen to dashboard. Also, the small rest under the stem helps to keep it all stable.
