I will start with the the one minor negative scenario about the fire the installation. It will require 2 people to install the fire as one will have to hold the fire while the other person will have to guide the person holding the fire on to the clips that are on the bracket situated on the wall once this is complete you then have to unscrew 2 screws we believe they are top left and right of the fire this is not pointed out in the instructions manual just says take glass off you will need to take the glass front off because there is packaging inside it and you can either have log effect pebbles or stones. Since I have done all that the fire looks fantastic and it doesn't make any sound if you put the heat settings on it does but still quiet if you have the tv on you won't hear it don't expect it too heat up a large to medium room it's too take the chill off it also has a remote control no batteries supplied 2aa required. Value for money £310.00 out of 10 highest 1 lowest. 6. Given that I have had 3 electric fires and that this fire has the most realistic flame.

Always had had fired and decided to go electric, this fire is perfect,looks lovley. Can't comment on the heat output, but the flames are really good. all in all very happy with this product.

Initially very pleased with the fire, looks great and heats well however it stopped working after 26 months. Just outside the warranty, annoying. Contacted Truflame who advised likely a main circuit board issue. New circuit board supplied after some weeks wait and cost £50. Installed by local electrician. Working again now but I’m dubious about how long it will last

A wonderful fire. The man who installed ours showed a picture to another client as well as commending its quality and they immediately ordered one for themselves! Aesthetically pleasing and comfortably warming

A factor for me was that, before purchasing I checked all reviews and Q & As, and was assured by this that the fire was quiet. Please be aware it is not quiet. This has come as a major disappointment as, when the heat is on, it can be heard above the TV. When flame only it makes faint "ticking" sound (not a problem as it tunes out after a while ), then when heat is on the fan is quite intrusive. This is not something that can just be "unfitted" and sent back, ( after all, it might not be a fault, and the look and style are excellent ). The noise has to be experienced " in situ " once fitted. Just be aware, it is by no means quiet.

Wish it we had the option for flame crackles and it wasn’t as wide. Looks smart.

All good. Decent piece of kit. All came in order. The only thing i d like to point out to the seller is that there are insert dimensions given but the screw heads stick out both sides adding another 6 mm, 3 mm per side. Would be good to mention that as it can save ppl a lot of trouble. The frame I built to accomodate my electric fire was just, just big enough :)

Really enhances the living room. Just having the lighting on makes you feel warm and cosy. Very simple to adjust heating and lighting effects.
