The push these days is towards using soft phones and blue tooth headsets instead of using traditional handsets. The Polycom VVX601 is a beautiful phone and sturdy handset for those of us that like the feel of a phone and don't want to dial numbers on your computer. The integration of this phone with Skype for Business/Teams makes it an ideal companion for telecommunications collaboration needs. When you combine this phone with the correct version of Polycom's BToE (Better Together over Ethernet) software you have a perfect marriage between your PC and your phone.

This is a BEAUTIFUL phone. And I can now confirm that this is 100% provisionable by RingCentral. RingCentral doesn't sell the VVX600, only the VVX500 and this is very much worth getting. Of course when I called RC, they gave me the spiel about how they aren't sure it will work and if I had bought it from them, it would already be set up and ready. I told them I knew it would work and to please stop telling me their nonsense. I knew more about it having researched the issue fully, then they did. Provisioning went without a hitch. They had to enter a URL into the phone, and that's all it took. The phone is great. Sounds amazing. Simply couldn't ask for more. Works great with RC. If you are thinking about getting one, for just a bit more than the 500, you can have a big, beautiful, touchscreen phone.

I like the phone however there was problems with the power cord. there is not one included - you have to order that separate. Once I ordered the power cord. they sent the wrong one and I had to wait for another few days for the good one to come in
