Chinese Cavalry Type 56 AK Magazine Bag Shoulder Pouch Green 7 Cells Reproduction

I was looking for a mag option that didn't require that famous slip-on vest. This meets the bill. It's comfortable hanging at your side. It holds multiple mags and has side pouches for other items. I managed to fit a German tobacco can cleaning kit in one pocket minus the little pouch and cotton rag. It's a bit old-fashioned with the wood toggle closure, but I'm fine with that. I liked it enough to get a second one.

It’s a mag pouch. It works. It is sturdy. It was cheap. Fits and holds 30rd mags just fine. The flap keeps them secure. Very functional piece of gear. I would buy more of them.

Perfect for 30 round AR mags. Easy cheap way to carry your mags to your favorite shooting range.

As far reproductions go this one is good. The only complaints I have is the shoulder strap is a little short so I can’t run my belt through the belt loops even at maximum length. Also the material the shoulder bag is made of is a lighter and thinner nylon instead of the classic cotton canvas.

Repro but still good for reenactments

In the fine print it says 5 large and 2 small compartments. the outer ones are for grenades I suppose. AK mags fit loosely and will rarrtte. Strap is short material is thin and durability is suspect. wooden catches especially. Prolly best for costume, airlift or reinactors
