Before I bought this I was scrolling endlessly through all of the products Noble Collection sell and coming to no decision; I couldn't decide between this and the Time Turner. Eventually, I decided to bite the nail and buy the Deluminator. And I'm so glad I did. It's great!The box it comes in is off good quality and is stable, it's quite simple with just the Harry Potter logo in gold, but that isn't a bad thing. The Deluminator sits in the box perfectly in the box and doesn't move about. The Deluminator itself is lovely, the ends are metal but the main body is plastic, however I don't think that's a problem. Along the side there is a silver switch along the side that opens the top up and releases the light, it also pulls it back down. It's just identical to the one in the film.Overall, I thinks it's well worth the money and perfect for any Harry Potter fan and collector. I definitely recommend it

i received this item for my mum for christmas, i took it out to admire it before wrapping, i would recommend to EvERyone who loves harry potter, its so accurate to the movie prop and its very well made and has a fair weight to it possibly due to the metal cap, when you lift the slider on the side a small LED lifts out of the chamber, pushes the metal cap up and the light turns to the side just like the movie, its an amazing product and for the price, you cant go wrong, came in record time in an official harry potter merch box, so....yeah..get out there and suck the light out of street lamps :D thumbs up

My husband was insanely happy when he received this for Christmas. It not only looks like the actual deluminator from the film but lights up too. I think it is well built, very sturdy and has a great case for it to sit in also. If you are a harry potter fan, you will love this

This is an amazing product from noble collection, however mine has developed a slight fault, where the LED light keeps flickering! Maybe this is just mine but it has not stopped me enjoying and I would recommend it for any Potter fan ( let’s see if I can fix it)

I am a big Harry Potter fan myself, however I bought this for one of my friends who also is. When it arrived, I had to have a sneaky look myself, and I was amazed by the quality and the detail. Having read a couple of other reviews, I thought that the main body would have a very plastic-like feel to it, however it actually feels very close to marble. The detail on the metal parts is great and the marbled green effect on the body looks great. The only downside being the switch, which is quite obviously plastic.

I bought this item in March as I try and collect gifts for Christmas throughout the year and my two children love Harry Potter. I left it untouched in it's box, it looked great, but I am very disappointed to find that when we put the batteries in on Christmas day that it does nothing. The lid is loose and falls open, the slide doesn't work and the light doesn't come on. It's obviously too late to return this item, but i am (and so it my son) terribly disappointed with this piece of rubbish. I hope you read this, and I hope you will get in touch about it. It's too expensive to be in such poor working order.

Excellant my 7 year old grandson really enjoyed this as he is a big harry potter fan, we had a great time at Harry Potter world with him dress as Harry he walked around with his nanny all day long and looked after me. So this was his reward. Thankyou so much also swell packaged and arrived on time for delivery.

Although small, this Deluminator prop replica looks fantastic and is well worth the money. It is my favourite Noble Collection item I have so far. It takes two watch batteries. There is a little thing you push up and when you push it the lid on top opens and the bell with the light comes out. The light is very bright and is suitable to use as a torch if you wish.
