My wife had found the smaller Velo bike with the rear two wheels on Facebook marketplace for very cheap when my son was 3. He loved the bike so much and fit his frame so well that I thought I would find bigger version. This one feels like an excellent upgrade to the first one. He immediately took to the bike. Assembly was pretty easy. Just keep in mind you need to place some metal spacers on the inside of the forks. These spacers press up against the bearings, just make sure they’re placed in the center of the bearings. There is a little play there so the wheel won’t spin as fast as it should if the spacers aren’t seated correctly. Bearing are great. The bike is super light and agile. Oddly enough the bike is about 2 - 3 lbs lighter than the smaller Velo bike we started with. Can’t say enough good things about the bike.

Had it for a few weeks. My son has always been unsteady at speed like front wheel jerking it left and right wobbling. I thought it was just him till I saw him ride another bike and it just went straight. He had a real hard fall when the tires started wobbling and he hit his face on the ground. I wrote a pretty rough review. Having built the bikes the nylon frame seems to be pretty strong. The bikes are very light. My daughter who is not nearly as strong as my son can lift it with no problem. There are no sharp edges so they don’t get hurt. The frames seem pretty sturdy. I would buy these again.

Tires are rubber, have held air well for 3+ months of lots of use. The wheels spin well, no issue with bearings. The frame is a composite fuberglass/plastic. Not metal. The seat is more padded and better than other balance bikes we've had. Also, biggest thing for us is the design of the arms to the rear wheel. On other balance bikes we've had, the arms would scrape and scratch our son's legs when he would ride. These are narrow and smooth and don't cause any issues. Great little bike.

My 2.5 year old grew out of her sereed balance bike and decided to upgrade to this one. Big enough for her and she’s able to easy balance and ride on it. Love the look of it, sturdiness and the smoothness of the tires. Really nice bike for kids.

If you have a new learner this would be a great bike to start them off with. However, my kids have already been introduced to bikes with pedals and the concept of going backwards to no pedals and learning to balance was lost on them. They both gave it a few tries but it was quickly sidelined for their traditional bikes. I will say the instructions are a bit sparse and at times, unhelpful. However, if you end up with extra parts it's pretty easy to figure out where they go. I also ended up with a backwards wheel and had to take the bike apart to fix that based on the direction the tire would rotate - I'm not sure how big of a deal this is, but I opted to fix it rather than accidentally mess the bike up somehow. Just keep in mind this isn't a 5 minute job so do this preferably while the little ones are not hovering over your every move. It feels sturdy and well made - just be mindful of the little one you plan to give this to and their experience level.

Our boy has been riding the 3 wheel velo toddler bike for the past 2 years and now that he is 4, we've upgraded to this bike! The toddler version has served us well and so far, we love this one too! He took to it instantly. He's determined to be the next BMX biker. It is lightweight and easy to put together.

Only 2 months of use and it won’t stay together. The Handel bars and wheel won’t stay together. They come apart in less than 5 minutes and the handle bar will not stay straight. I’ve tried tightening it. I’m super disappointed. As is my child.
