Useful lighter for when our electric goes off, to enable us to light the gas cooker.

Been using one of the two of these for 7 months now and have no complaints. Size is just right. Ignite button is easy to use. I've tried some in the past that were murder to click down.Only one complaint that is easily fixed. There is a little slider button on one side that locks it off so the button can't be pressed to ignite the flame and I kept tipping this by accident and it would lock each time. So I put it to the on postion and locked it in place with tiny dab of superglue and hey presto problem solved.There is another slider button that sets size of flame and just left that minimum and it been fine as it is on the opposite side of where the main button is.After 7 months and daily use there is still pleanty of gas left in it. There is a handy clear bit on side which allows you to see how much is left and mine still has over a third left in it. Would buy again.

Ideal for lighting log fire

The quality of these is appalling for what is a well known lighter brand. The plastic body creaks at the crack where two pieces join together and the tiny plastic lock switch moves too easily when handling into the lock position and blocks off being able to ignite it. Very fiddly, very flimsily made, spend a few more quid and get a decent one would be my advice.
