Lacura Caviar Illumination Day Cream SPF 15 or Caviar Rich Night Moisturiser (50ml, Caviar Day Cream)

This stuff is perfect for me. Moisturised well, lasts all day. Kind of gives a glow to your skin and also a little spf which is a bonus. It isn’t a thin cream and maybe some won’t like the texture but for many this will tick all boxes that brands 10 times the cost also tick just the same.

This is a super day cream, non-greasy and absorbs straight away, leaving skin soft and smooth, plumping out small wrinkles. Well worth the money and I would definitely buy this again.

I did not purchase this Lacura Caviar Day Cream SPF15 and Caviar Night Cream from Amazon, but directly from the local Aldi store (c£6.99). However, as they are the same product and feel it is worth reviewing and giving my personal experience as it seems to be a hot topic in way of comparison to more expensive products of a similar type. Whilst I have never purchased the Swiss Caviar brand Day Cream, I have used other branded day and night creams in a price bracket of £30+ for a similar size product. As far as price goes (at Aldi) these products can't be beaten. The creams comes in a glass jar with a classy looking top and boxed. They would be an ideal inexpensive, but expensive looking present for someone. I have been using the day and night creams for 5 weeks now. The smell of both the Day and Night Cream is pleasant. However, I can't honestly say they have reduced my fine lines at this point in time and have no raised expectations. I prefer moisturisers to penetrate and sink into the skin leaving no residue, In my experience these Lacura products, though not particularly thick in texture, sit on the skin and leave a tacky feeling and leaves my face looking shiny. I put the Day Cream on this morning and my face is still tacky well into the evening. The Night Cream is still tacky in the morning. There is only so much rubbing in you can do; too much and the cream starts to roll off the face in your fingers. Caviar Day Cream SPF15 - after use wash hands thoroughly as if you don't and accidentally touch your eyes or use your fingers to put makeup on afterwards as it causes stinging (may be the addition of the SPF in it?). I wouldn't attempt to go anywhere near the eyes with this Day and Night Cream(s). Nor would I advise use on the lips. During the time I have been using the Lacura Caviar Day and Night Creams, I have been in a position of not having a need to wear my usual daily makeup. Had I needed to apply makeup over the Day Cream I feel that the tackiness would cause an unstable or uneven base. That said, if you like a Day and Night Cream to hydrate by sitting on top of the skin, this is one for you and good value at the price. I will continue to use as and when needed (maybe as a face mask and wash off afterwards), but for me, I will be going back to my normal day and night moisturisers. As everyone has different expectations and different skin types, I may just be unlucky this product does not specifically work for me and I need something with a more lighter touch. Age group 55-60.

I heard good things about this product but definitely does not work for my sensitive skin as I’ve broken out from using it. Wouldn’t recommend for a young age range
