What’s the difference between cod liver oil tablets for dogs and cod liver oil tablets for humans??

“A human tablet will contain around 1,000mg of cod liver oil, while a dog tablet typically has around 300mg. Does this product contain vitamin E the same as the oil? Doesn't say so on the packaging but it does in the product description

Hi, I’m sorry I’ve looked all over the description on the bottle and it doesn’t state anywhere that it cobtains ‘vitamin E’ in the tablets so I couldn’t say. I bought them to hide in her food so she can get a healthy looking coat and to help with her bones.

Does this have added vitamin D or when it says vitamin D is that because the cod liver oil naturally has vitamin D in it?

How is the cod liver oil processed? (e.g. is it molecular distilled, cold, ...)

The oil is processed by a proprietary method, which we cannot disclose in detail. The oil is first obtained by steam extraction, then further refined, e.g. some of the stearin content is removed to ‘winterise’ the oil and stop it going cloudy at low temperatures. It is then subjected to full nutritional analysis, to assess parameters including the content of vitamin A and D3, and the omega-3 EFAs. It is then drummed off with a nitrogen blanket and received at our packing site.
