The vests are easy to put on, the material seems nice, no noticeable tears and the Velcro attaches and removes nicely.But, even going a size down - still a little big around the neck and top - past the side straps. The front straps are bulky and really should go the other way. Not enough room and I can’t imagine it feels good the way it is. Also, the hard plastic pieces the straps go through should be higher up, they are right on the boney part of the shoulder and press into the bone.The dogs seem to be ok with it on. I think the design on the front makes it awkward for them to walk/step up. I think I’ll try another size down, but likely returning these.Getting ready to take the one pup in the car, see if there is any reduction in his anxiety. If not, definitely will be returning. He’s been wearing it for a couple hours.

It just didn't help my little guy.

My Lhasa Apso is 15 years old. He started having problems sleeping through the night and would get up and wander around and bark at nothing. I noticed in the winter when he had his sweater on, he was more likely to go through the night without getting up and barking. First I bought a very expensive name brand anxiety shirt but it was way too warm for him, he was always panting. My dog has seizures, so keeping him cool is essential. It would also not stay on properly and would get bunched up when he moved around in his bed. There was also way to much velcro and that would also not stay flat and did not seem comfortable.I figured I would try this one because it looked breathable with the holes in it, and this anxiety coat is AMAZING! It is a breathable mesh material that let's the body heat out! Since we started using this coat several months ago, he has only had 2 "bad" nights. It's part if our bedtime routine and Grizzly knows it's time for bed when his coat is on.I was a bit worried that the material would start fraying or ripping where the velcro attaches, but is has been fine so far!It is tricky to put on at first, but I figured out that crossing the straps on the chest keeps them the flattest and seems most comfortable for him to wear through the night. Now I just leave those pieces together and take it on and off over his head with just the pieces on his back needing to be attached.I definitely recommend this coat!Grizzly is 27 lbs and I bought a size medium and it fits him well.

It did not seem to help our dog settle down.

XL fits our 10 yr old 90lb Amstaff mix. 25 inch neck 35 chest girth. VERY easy to put on. Un velcro sides put over head & velcro both sides no adj needed to straps at this time. He does not like anything touching his butt so we folded that part fwd. After putting on Achilles he laid in his bed & within a few minutes he started snoring. We actually purchased this to keep gauze bandage in place for skin tag wound on chest. The calming is a plus.

Had to write a review because my dog has never been calm throughout a storm, our first use she was calm, went to bed and did not feel distress. Highly recommend, I like the design fit, great quality.

Fabulous product I bought it for my German short haired pointer named Scout who has really bad anxiety I have only had it for two weeks and I love it . It has helped to calm him and his barking . Thanks to you and the company that made this he is not as loud or as anxious as he was . I am so thankful and impressed with the way it works so quickly that I probably am going to buy another one just so that I could change them out when I have to wash one Lyric Thompson
