I was sceptical because it has been impossible to find a dye that looks like natural black hair. Although this is my first time using hair dye, (for facial hair) I watched the struggle with family and friends. All eventually gave up. The two part bottle is genius because it eliminates the mess of mixing. Simply pump desired amount in your hand and lather into hair for 5-10 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and condition with supplied after dye hair conditioner. You get a TON of product... Very generous amount, enough for you and everyone around you for a long time. Buy regular gloves that fit your hands because the supplied gloves are too big and become a big problem. I would also suggest putting down plastic and making yourself a protected work area because it can get out of hand really quickly if you're not careful. Also, I taped the "bottom" of the bottle because there are two caps on the bottom that the manufacturer used to fill the bottle with the two parts. (It wasn't leaking but I wanted to make sure that it didn't). I used two separate pieces of duct tape. The color is the closest thing to natural black that I have seen. It covered my gray no problem and lasted about a week. If you are dying your beard and have dark black hair naturally, but have gray, I suggest that you leave the product in for the full 10 minutes. Four stars because it doesn't last as long as they say that it will. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I highly recommend for someone looking for a true black "TEMPORARY" beard and hair dye that covers gray with one application. In the defense of the product I used for facial hair and mine grows fast. It will last as long as it takes for your new hair to grow. Then you can be diet if you want . I am not being paid for this review and I paid full price for the product.

I was very happy with the result on my hair and beard. For me, this investment was well worth it. and the price is great for the amount in the bottle. I'm going to shower, use it and that's it... goodbye gray.

I’ve been looking for true jet black color for decades and finally found it! Super ultra black! Easy to use but the liquid is very runny so it does make a mess when applying it. Colors hard to dye grey or white hairs.

So I used Vaseline to ensure my skin didn’t dye. It works in 10 mins and wash out. Color was rich and fabulous but I ended up with a few patches of burnt scalp and a spot on my ear. Hair wasn’t affected but my scalp needed a little attention in a few spots. I think next time I’ll use it for 8 minutes and try my hardest to not rub into scalp. It did stay longer and darker then most box dies I’ve used for 30 years.

I’ve been dying my hair black for years. I’ve used professional products, drugstore products, color depositing conditioners, etc. This product blows them all out of the park. This was so easy to apply (make sure hair is DRY) and took maybe 5 minutes to apply the product to my entire head. Usually dye application takes between 30-40 mins for me so this was a huge improvement. I was able to get the color very even with very little effort since it has a slightly sudsy consistency. I started a timer for 15 minutes after the product was applied, I have color resistant hair so I wanted to give it enough time. This starts developing FAST! There were no irritants for me and nothing that smelled bad at all. Rinsing it was so easy and it didn’t stain my tub which was great. I’m attaching a photo of my hair so you can see the true black color in the sun, there’s no warm tones which is what I’m always after since I have dark warm toned brown hair with greys at the temples.

This is good when you only need a small amount for your hair. You can wash it after 10 minutes. The only con is that it makes my head itchy when applying. It.
