I have not washed any leather detailing, therefore I can’t answer your question. I can say I have used this product for a long time And it is gentle to my leathers and sheepskin and cleans well

Can you use this solution to wash leather coats in the washing machine

Hello. This solution is intended to be used like laundry detergent in the washing machine. This is formulated for smooth leather clothing or equine tack, but is not intended for use on synthetic leathers and/or high-fashion leather garments. Our recommended directions for use on smooth leather items are to use 2-4 ounces of leather cleaning solution in cold water, and set the washing machine to "small load" setting.
