Purchased this for daughter's halloween costume. Ordered the largest size we could get (according to the measurements listed) and it was still a bit tight around the waist. The fabric had a little bit of stretch to it but not much. It was constructed well and had a double layer of material inside it which made it a bit hot during our warmer-than-usual Halloween evening.

The dress is really pretty, but very short. I bought size 10-12 for my 10 year old who is in the 50% percentile in height. The dress is about 5 inches to short and is about few inches above the ankles. A medieval dress should be floor length.

Gorgeous velvet gown. Size 11-12 looks like it was made for my 11 y.o. daughter (probably 58 1/2" and 78-80 lbs right now). Currently it *just* touches the floor when she is barefoot, and the elasticized waist (and velcro in the belt) make me feel confident that it should continue to fit for a while. (Unlike previous reviewers, she had no issues with tightness in the sleeves but she does have a relatively small frame so take that for what it's worth.) I slightly wish that the stencil at the top were embroidered but realize that would add additional weight (and potentially itchiness) so perhaps a stencil is for the best after all.

My daughter wore this for a costume. It arrived quickly and looked and felt great on her. The price was great and the quality was even better. Overall very satisfied with it and would buy again.

Used the measurements and it fit my 12 year old daughter perfectly. It is great quality for the price, definitely not finished clothing but not cheap plastic.
