Suunto 9 Peak Pro
I’ve had Apple Watches, Garmin, and Fitbit's.Nothing compares to this Suunto watch in my opinion. It’s simple to use, made of quality material, looks great, and the Suunto app is fantastic.Battery is amazing I typically run 35+ miles a week, surf 3+ hours a week, lift 3 days a week, and that will usually only use 50% of the battery. So, I get around 14 days of battery, which for me is amazing. I know it may advertise 20+ days of battery life and I’m sure I could get it if I wasn’t so active.Running is my top priority for watch use and it’s on point. Pace is perfect, distance is perfect, everything is just great! It’s a smidge bit heavier than a Garmin but it’s because it’s quality.Personally I don’t like the Garmin app, workout modes, etc. they offer but that’s just my opinion because I don’t need my reps counted, I don’t dive, I don’t need a song and fireworks show for every mile I run. Some people do and I totally get why you like the Garmin then.Suunto is simple, I get texts & phone calls when near my phone (can’t reply or pick up) which I love. If it’s important I’ll grab my phone.App allows you to track everything and it’s simple. Download different watch faces if you’d like (I did, as shown in photos).I haven’t done any tri’s or Ironmans so I’m not sure how it works for that. But if you’re just looking to track activities, distances, and calories I recommend.Hooks up to strava as well! Just takes a min to figure it out. Strava will make you connect Suunto app. Not difficult if you follow directions.Last but not least, can’t beat the price!Hope this was helpful, cheers.

NOT from Finland
The entire story of Suunto is that it is the embodiment of Finland. However, this model is made in China. Nope

Awesome
Great smartwatch for the last 2 months. Battery life ridiculously long - over a week no problem. Tracks steps, workouts and tennis scores. I can check my heart rate, blood o2 and sleep. Legible and easy to use. No problem pairing with my iPhone. I’m not much of a runner so I haven’t used it for that yet. I think it’s great looking in all black and sized smaller than many dive watches. Very comfortable to wear. My only knock is the strap which can come undone relatively easily. I added a black silicon strap stay and problem solved. For the price it was a no brainer and worth it. I don’t need the latest and greatest, this watch checked all my boxes.

Yes, sleek; yes looks solid BUT
I really, really wanted to like this watch, it looked great and solid piece of smartwatch but once I powered it up I noticed a few things right within the few minutes of trying to set it up, my very first impression was, "Wow, for a $600 smartwatch it's awfully slow scrolling through the menus, settings etc.. secondly I noticed the screen was not edge-to-edge, it had a black ring on the edges making the screen viewing smaller and I was expecting sharper images and vivid colors, but no. I also think it came as an open box as if someone else did the same thing, didnt like it and returned it to Amazon and it ended up being shipped to me, it didnt have that right-out-of-box brand new feeling. The watch is heavy, feels tough but honestly I also thought it was clunky in design. Would I pay $600 for it? NO. Would I pay $60 for it? Maybe, at best.
