This is a great set for the price as someone with a few chess sets I wanted one that would fit in my bag but also not too small - its about the size and thickness of a VHS video case - so not the smallest but compact. It makes a nice sound when your are playing with the sound of the pieces on the board... maybe that's just me! Also I did the upside down test and the pieces stay on - so you could play upside if you really wanted to!Overall - its a handy size, great sticking power and for people like me studying games etc it has the notation on the board so simple to move the pieces. Most important its a great price !

Good quality for the price. Lightweight and good magnetic strength. Easy to take with you on the go, even though it is not pocket size, but I didn't want a very small board. My sons and I are very satisfied. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for a portable chess board with a decent size. And the extra queen is absolutely a plus.

My granddaughter, who is partially sighted, loves the green and white board, which means she can see the black pieces clearly against the green squares.

My son absolutely loved this gift the board is magnetic and it is so easy to use and put away after thanks 10/10 would recommend and would buy again.
