Chewy and good taste👍🏻
I waited to give review because it was necessary to try first as per I saw the reviews for this product...when I opened the packet I was relieved that the rice cakes came all fine not rotten...after cooking it, the taste is chewy and good so that's was as my expectations... Quantity of the product is as good as it should be...Salt content, freshness and size is equal and perfect! Adding with other things made taste more good...So, it's good... didn't let me down! Thanks❤️❤️

Good for the first 2-3 days
The instructions say to consume the rice cakes within 3 days of opening and I’d recommend you follow those instructions. It tasted really good the first day I made it but on the 5th day I decided to make them again since I had some leftover and they tasted purely of chemicals and even turned the water milky white when I was cooking them. It’s good because it’s hard to find tteokbokki anywhere else around me but consuming it within 3 days is a bit difficult. Would recommend if you can eat them within 1-2 days tho 👍🏼

Product has high quality, nice packaging. But - Texture is hard & chewy. Taste is very subjective most people will not find it tasty.

Slight smell of preservatives, and unrealistic consumption days limit.
I was very excited about these rice cakes, but it gave off a slight synthetic smell when I opened the package. I cooked the cakes for 10-15 minutes in the sauce, but apart from the delightfully chewy texture, the cakes were unable to absorb the sauce. I have never been disappointed by the products by Urban Platter, but this product missed the mark. I would suggest packaging half of the quantity, without preservatives and selling it on Amazon Fresh so that people can realistically consume it within 3 days without the lurking taste of preservatives.
