Superstay Matte Ink

I love these, have four shades now. Ruler is a beautiful vintage shade of red with more of a deep purple red tone than orange. Revolutionary comes out on me as a quite bright deep pink. Initiator is a deep dark pink. As I wanted a more everyday shade I tried seductress, but on me it came out very light, almost like the concealer lip look which I am not a fan on on me BUT you can mix the colours on your lip before it dries and seductress with a light dab of initiator over the top is the perfect ‘natural but better’ lip shade and one I will wear everyday for work! My only complaint is that the colour on the outside doesn’t reflect the actual shade inside so it’s been a bit of trial and error finding the best shades but the price point means I don’t really mind a few misses and will actual use all of them at some point. The best thing is the staying power! It is very easy to apply and sets quickly. Once dry it does not budge, you can literally rub your lips and there is no smudging etc. For the first hour it will leave a tiny amount of residue on a cup but this never shows on your lips. There is a slight stickiness but if you wait until it dries the lick your lips and let them dry I find that stops the stickiness. Yesterday I wore Ruler (my fav) all day for a Christmas outing, shopping, eating, drinking etc and after a full day and evening my lipstick was still perfect and I can’t say that for the rest of my makeup lol To remove, I use body shop camomile cleansing butter and a small dab removes it perfectly. The product doesn’t really dry your lips but it’s worth keeping them moisturised as it looks best on smooth lips.

This is my go-to daily lipstick. It lasts so well unless you eat greasy food or apply a lip balm containing oil. Application can be tricky just because it's so pigmented for the darker/brighter colours, if you make any mistakes you need make up remover to fix it. And always check your teeth! This stuff stays out once it's set so it's easy to end up with a lipstick mark on your teeth all day if you don't spot it early. Your lips do also need to be in reasonable condition, you can't put this on dry lips or it will just look crusty. I find it comfortable to wear but if you're used to moisturising cream lipsticks it might take some getting used to. It comes off easy at the end of the day with a good makeup remover or any kind of oil and doesn't stain lips. I wear it daily and a tube lasts me about a month so I consider it great value. It also doesn't have a scent or irritate my skin. I find the reds do dry to a slighter bluer hue than when they're wet but I don't mind that. They dry to a matt appearance which is exactly what I prefer. Some lip balms can be patted on after it's dried for a more sheeny look but that might affect the staying power depending on the formula.

This liquid lipstick is super reliable and honestly one of the few that really lasts all day. I wear it to work, drink coffee, eat meals, and by the end of the day it still looks good without needing a single retouch (which I love). The formula goes on smoothly, dries down nicely, and doesn’t feel too drying like some long-wear lipsticks do. I have it in basically all the colours now and just keep repurchasing the ones I’ve finished because they’re that good. The shades are bold, beautiful, and flattering, and there’s something for every mood or occasion. It’s just one of those products that becomes part of your routine without even thinking about it. If you want a lipstick that genuinely lasts and looks great doing it, this one never lets me down.

Sticky and required a lot of dabbing at the lips. Perhaps I put it on wrong, but it's not for me. The colour was nice however, and I suppose if you put your own lipstick on top of it, it would work and become long lasting - which was my aim (so that I don't have to keep applying all day)

Long lasting and has a very nice smell to it.

I bought Ringleader and it's a really lovely, sweet, warm pink lipstick for light to medium tone skin. It's pretty bright, and is quite difficult to remove. I also bought Seductress, a nude pink, which is great if you want concealer lip effect with a pink tone. I personally have cool toned skin so can only get away with nude lipsticks that have a pink tone. Ruler is a flattering, deep rosy pink which gives off vintage red lipstick vibes without being a red lipstick. Very longlasting, the only lipstick type I'll wear now, and I know I'll wear these lipsticks all the time because they can withstand all kinds of food and drink. I've gone and bought a few colours in the Maybelline Ink range. It has longevity that beats the Dior Forever range, which I own quite a few of. It's also non-drying, which is no mean feat for any longwearing lipstick on my naturally dry peeling lips, but I have to apply more than a thin layer for it to be non drying, and the resultant effect is like a matte lipstick but veering a teeny bit like a cream lipstick. A very matte finish can be achieved by applying a thin layer and smacking lips to spread colour, but when I put a thin layer, it feels drying on lips. These lipsticks are amazing. Please don't stop making them, Maybelline.

SUPER ♥️ Hält den ganzen Tag. Angenehm auf den Lippen und trocknet sie nicht aus. Wenn man zu viel aufgetragen hat, kann man ganz einfach mit einem Zelltuch das Überschüssige, wie beim Löschpapier aufsaugen. Einfach das Papier zwischen die Lippen nehmen und 1 x schließen In dem Video ist eine gute Anleitung, wie man die Farbe am besten aufträgt. Die Lippen glänzen nicht und sehen daher natürlich aus.

Le meilleur rouge à lèvres du monde!!! Il tient TOUTE la journée et même avec un masque! Je le mets le matin, je porte mon masque toute la matinée, je déjeune, je remets mon masque toute l’après-midi, je dîne et il tient toujours!!! Il faut même frotter un peu pour réussir à bien tout enlever lorsque l’on se démaquille. Malgré tout ça, il n’abîme pas les lèvres et cerise sur le gâteau, la couleur est sublime!!!! Cette collection Super Stay est vraiment devenue indispensable à ma routine makeup :)
