Good product!
Good quality! Feels good! Affordable! I was worried about the sensitivity in weight for the weight distribution of the lines when doing art, but it works smoothly!

High quality !!
This thing is AMAZING. I was on a budget and didnt want to spend too much money, and this thing works perfectly. It comes with a bunch of extra pen nubs for when they eventually wear out. Its super easy to set up, feels high quality, and has held up really well for a solid six months now. I bring it with me everywhere and it works perfectly fine. It's compatible with all drawing programs I've tested it with. Two of the buttons have little bumps on them which are helpful for letting you know what buttons you're on. It definitely takes time getting used to not drawing directly on a screen, but once you do it feels just as natural as anything else. THING I LEARNED: If your buttons randomly stop working one day, check the side. There's a switch to turn the buttons on or off. I learned this the hard way after like an hour of troubleshooting and a day of not wanting to deal with fixing it.

5 star hardware, 3 star software.
If you're a windows user I'll assume the software is fine and this is a 5 star product. On the Linux side... Out of the box it works great. Wayland has settings for mapping the input to the current screen, a specific screen, all screens, mapping the buttons of the pen. But no mapping of the buttons on the tablet itself. When running the software supplied by HUION the buttons on the tablet do whatever I want. YAY! and the input is mapped to the left third of the screen.... What? My only real nit pick is that I wish the pen had some shape to it. I find that the buttons magically rotate in my hand while using it. I would prefer a slight triangle shape and perhaps a bit more definition on the pen buttons. Second, and minor, nit pick is on sensitivity. I find it impossible to touch the surface at anything between 1% and 40%. This is not a real issue as software settings can easily compensate for this. 100% force is about what I would expect. And just for completeness, plugged it into my android. It works as well as you would expect. The system sees it as a keyboard and then blocks the osk from showing up. Once again the problem is software implementation not hardware. For what it is, for this tablet's position in the market, I would easily recommend it to someone that's looking for a starter tablet.

I'm writing my John Hancock on this model. It's a beauty!
Okay, I will start off by stating that I am not a professional graphic artist so don't expect an especially artistic bent to this review. I am an avid photographer and have worked in the creative arts my entire career. I love digital photography and the ability to manipulate photos after the fact. The ability to control light and shadows, exposure, midtones, saturation, etc. and being able to control tiny areas of the photograph are all things that I manipulate in the digital darkroom. In order to really work well with masks and feathering to control the effects it really helps to have a tablet and pen. For years I have been using a Wacom Bamboo tablet and pen. They were great for entry level work and for experimenting to see if a tablet was really going to be the tool of choice for me. Well, recently, I built a new PC and the software that I use for photography was upgraded. The response of the Wacom tablet and pen had become unpredictable and disappointing. Wacom no longer had new drivers for the Bamboo tablet line that worked well with Windows 10, so I went on Amazon to see what the latest crop of tablets was like. I didn't want to spend a ton of money since I don't make my living doing this. After reviewing several of the tablets there were just a few criteria that were important to me: The size of the tablet, the number of customizable buttons and their layout, and a pen that didn't require a battery or recharging. I was intrigued by some tablets that were wireless and would allow me to avoid worrying about cords dangling around the keyboard. But after considering how I use my pen and tablet, I realized that I didn't need a wireless version. I had used a Huion tablet before and had been relatively pleased with how it works (it is still at my desk at work where I use it on occasion). But this H640P looked particularly intriguing and the price was certainly appealing. I hooked it up for the first time today and I can tell that Huion has made great leaps forward in the design and function of their tablets. This one is FANTASTIC for what I need it to do. It is SMOOTH and responsive. I have customized the tablet buttons and layout a few times and think I have it roughly where I want it. Using the pen as a digital brush has become a true joy. Having used Wacoms on Macs at work I can tell you that the response and ease of use on my PC with this new tablet feels just as good. I am so impressed with the ease of use I am looking for additional photos to play with! The size of the tablet is great and I can shift it on and off of my lap easily. I keep it right near my keyboard and mouse (yes, there are some things I like to do that require a mouse) for easy access. The tablet is very lightweight yet solid. The nib of the pen glides on this surface. The pressure sensitivity of the pen is fully adjustable in the driver software and I couldn't be happier with how that function works. It has more than 8000 levels of pressure sensitivity allowing me to manipulate the size of the brush on the fly. If I want to expand my brush I just press a bit harder and watch the cursor expand and contract as I press harder or softer. And price is $50.00!!! This thing is a STEAL at this price. If you are on the fence and you have the money to spend (and with Amazon's return efficiency should you decide this tablet isn't right for you) you should DEFINITELY LOOK HARD at this model. I am very pleased with my choice and look forward to a long relationship with my new Huion Inspiroy tablet.

After some surface area customization, this tablet is a great tool!!!
I have wanted a pen tablet for years (decades?), but have never worked up the courage or money to try a brand like Wacom. This was the perfect gateway device and the price was a steal for what it’s provided. Most of my work is either in video editing (Davinci Resolve, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) or Photoshop and the Huion Inspiroy H950P has worked wonders for the latter. I had started to develop mouse arm, so this was a welcomed relief. Out of the box, the tablet was easy to setup, but immediately, I needed to adjust the dimensions/screen size for the tablet, since the pen worked all the way to the edges, not allowing for any space to test my hand. It takes some time to acclimate to the way a pen tablet represents your entire screen, especially having used mouses, trackpads, and track balls for decades (which require you to reset your physical hand placement when you’ve moved too far), but with the borders wrangled in a bit, this tablet is amazing and has increased workflow. I don’t use the shortcut buttons as often as I should, since I still like the heavier tactile feeling of my laptop’s keyboard, but the ability to customize each button to pretty much any command you need is useful. I would have preferred a USB-C plug instead of micro USB, since micro USB plugs loosen over time, but that’s a small complaint for what is a very useful, affordable tablet. I highly recommend it at this time…!

Really great, well-functioning on the go tablet! I had little problems setting it up and installing the relevant drivers. Drawing was generally pretty easy from the get-go since the tablet automatically calibrates to the resolution of your display monitor. Pressure sensitivity was definitely evident and well adjusted to the amount of pressure I placed on the drawing tablet. Pen does not need batteries or recharging and comes with a ton of extra nibs, which is a bonus! Express keys are responsive and easy to customise. Overall, this is a good beginner tablet to buy and will work particularly well as a mobile accessory for people working on laptops.

This was my first digital drawing tablet and I have to say I'm blown away. I got the H950P, it comes with Android device adapters, tablet cable, extra pen nibs, pen stand, a pen that doesn't need to be charged which has 2 keys of its own, and the tablet which has 8 mappable keys. I use Krita as my main drawing application and managed to pick it up within half an hour. The tilt support is awesome, it's a good sensitivity to pressure, and the working space is big enough to be comfortable. I would recommend getting a glove with it or putting some fabric under your hand for cleaner lines (so your hand doesn't stick to it) but other than that the whole thing is awesome. It was also incredibly easy to setup and map the keys. Definitely recommend.
