Exellent book,saved me a lot of wonga.Some of the procedures are made to look easy but hey this is haynes lol.

VERY LITTLE INFO ABOUT WHAT NEEDED TO REMOVE INJECTORS FOR REPAIR AND IN FACT BECAUSE MY VEHICLE WAS AN IMPORT NO INJECTOR PARTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS MODEL SO STILL OF ROAD . SOME CLUES ABOUT MANIFOLD REMOVAL AND ROLLER ROCKER SHAFT REMOVAL WHICH IN FACT RETAINS ALL INJECTORS AND A WARNING THAT WHY BOTHER WHEN YOU CANT GET PARTS IN EUROPE

As ever, Haynes manuals are useful but entirely frustrating with their awful photos and indecipherable writing. Talk about making the simplest thing incredibly complicated...the Haynes way. One actually needs a manual of how to withstand the intense frustration that builds within when using a Haynes product. That said, there's little alternative and they'll sort you out (eventually).

I was bummed out to find that this manual does not cover the 1998 year. In 1998 Toyota redesign the Land Cruiser with a whole different chassis and design. Do not buy if you own a 1998. Since this book will do you no help.
