Remember this from years ago when I grew quite a bit of fruit. Scored the garden centres to be offered chemicals and windmills. Arrived quickly and neatly packaged and I got to work. Reason for need, a new neighbour has ripped out an English garden and replaced with low maintenace gravel, lights and the larges tbird table piled high with unwanted food scaps and fat balls! Pigeon and seagulls banquet and their pud ,my fruit,The car also suffering, the mess! Line can be long and therefore vibrate like a flapping wing of a very large bird. Pulled taut around sticks, instruction on pack a varied humming is emitted. Can't be heard indoors but really works in the garden. Environmentally friendly and quick to set up. This morning instead of being greeted with gable of garage full of squaking birds two looking curious. Vary the line weekly so the birds are not familar with positioning. Excellent product.

Not great

Surprisingly very effective, we've had problems with pigeons nesting in trees over our flower beds. This simple tape has stopped almost all of the pigeons using the trees. Only down side, it also effects all other birds as well. But overall very happy with the results!!

Looks very unsightly and doesn't work at all unless there is some wind.

Twine works well, plants now protected

The scarer did not work and the birds were happily feeding directly under it, whilst it wined.

We bought it to deter starlings from nesting in a roof, however the product only works in windy weather. The birds are more cautious but they wait until the wind stops before exiting the nest site.

I recently purchased this bird scare wire as I had planted some grass seed and I was hesitant as to whether it would really work and stop the birds eating my grass seed. Omg I was so surprised and happy to see that it really does work and it did keep the birds off my seed patch and scared them away. Now I have a great patch of grass.
