Nice! I love it!
Once this product arrived, I started to attach it to my bike. It does not come with any instructions, but it is pretty self explanatory. The order comes with the basket, a mounting piece, and a zip tie. I couldn't figure out what the zip tie was for, so I just left it in the basket in case I find out later. As you can see from the pictures, the basket did get in the way of my front light, but I easily solved that problem and adjusted the position of the light. The basket itself is very high quality and sturdy, but if I move the handlebars of the bike too fast the basket does wobble a little bit, but it is so slight that I doubt it will affect anything. The basket is easily removable. Overall, I give this product a 5 star review because it works as advertised and it is very nice quality!

Perfect for Campus Life – Sturdy, Stylish, and Practical!
I bought the Retrospec Apollo Bike Basket for my daughter, who's starting college this fall, and it's been a game-changer for her campus commute! She loves the classic look of the basket—it adds a bit of vintage flair to her bike, which she pairs with modern gear. But beyond just the aesthetics, this basket is incredibly practical. It’s surprisingly spacious, easily fitting her textbooks, a water bottle, and even a light jacket for those unpredictable weather changes. The sturdy construction ensures that it doesn't wobble or sag, even when she has a heavier load.Installation was a breeze—took her all of 10 minutes, and she was ready to go. The basket stays securely in place, which was one of my main concerns. Plus, the handle is a nice touch, making it easy to carry when she wants to take it off the bike and bring it into class or the library.Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase. It’s made her daily rides so much more convenient and stylish. If you’re looking for a durable, functional, and chic bike basket, the Retrospec Apollo is an excellent choice!

Easy Spacious Bike Basket
Easiest basket you will ever own. You just put it over the bars and strap the belt . That’s it! It’s sturdy and the design holds a lot, unlike those bulky baskets. It is nice, but doesn’t attract attention in case you are worried if someone will steal it . It also seems like it is very secured if someone is eyeing it. Highly recommend. The best basket that I have ever own.

Great basket, but doesn’t support full weight
I love this basket and use it almost every day. It is very easy to use and install, and it is a great size and shape. It fits well onto my bike, and the basket is super easy to take on and off of the mount. It’s really handy when grabbing a few groceries or for carrying your lunch or a jacket.I saw some people saying they had issues with the basket falling off of the mount when going over large bumps. I also had this issue, but I was able to resolve it by placing bungee cords in an X across the top to both secure the handles to the basket and prevent items in the basket from bouncing out.I do have two issues with the basket. First, the basket broke in two paces after only two weeks of use when I went over a sudden bump in the road. The two parts that broke were both on the mount. One part is a piece of fabric with Velcro which secures the mount to the bike frame, and the seam on the fabric completely tore when I went over the bump; I was able to fix this easily using zip ties. The other part is a metal support bar on the mount which became disconnected at the join (this can be seen in the attached image). I have not yet figured out a way to fix this, so when I use the basket now I have to hold the basket with my left hand to make sure it doesn’t wobble all over the place. After the mount broke I weighed the basket and it’s contents to see if it was over the advertised 15 pound weight limit, but all together everything weighed 13.5 pounds. I wouldn’t recommend putting more than 10 pounds in the basket if you want to be on the safe side.My other issue with the basket is simply that when full, it blocks the lower beam of light from my headlight, making it harder for me to see at night, and the design of the basket doesn’t let me attach my headlight to the front of the basket.

Well built
Got this for my granddaughters' bike and not only does it fit good, it's also a perfect color match. You can detach the basket from the bike and carry it wherever you like. Then just attach back on.

Basket is awesome, mounting bracket is terrible
The media could not be loaded. In spite of the serious design flaws in the mounting bracket, I really like this product because they basket itself is great.PROS- The bottom and lower sides of the basket are made with a material that keeps even the smallest items you might toss into a bicycle basket from falling through. I unlock my bike and toss my keys in the basket with no worry of losing them.- The basket's quick-release mechanism is ingeniously simple, trouble free, and fast to operate. The basket is large enough and strong enough to use as a shopping basket for quick, small purchase trips to the grocery store.CONS (see video!)- The mounting bracket is horrible. In an effort to make it quick-release, presumably to allow movement between bikes or perhaps to prevent theft, they have created a bracket that won't stay in position without the some form of supplemental support (at least on my bike.)- The welds that hold the various metal rods that comprise the basket together are so weak that - at least in my case - two of them broke within a couple of months. Pro Tip: If you like the basket itself enough to invest some time and money into using it, then reinforce the welds with your own gear or perhaps take it to a muffler shop and pay them to do it for you.- The way the lower support attaches to the bike's gooseneck is horrible. I added hose clamps and tie wraps to make it more secure on my bike and that helped a lot.WOULD I RECOMMENT THIS TO A FRIEND?Only if that friend liked the basket well enough to have the mounting bracket welds improved. If they weren't willing to advise them not to get this as it will very likely fail with any meaningful amount of use.
