Works great. Quality product!
Retracts every time with no issues. I like the fact that the cord end lights up. This is a quality cord and reel.

Garage Necessity
The VEVOR Retractable Extension Cord Reel is a very useful and functional product. I purchased the 65 foot, 12-gauge cord. I use this item a lot. I mounted it in my garage and the 65 ft gets me through my garage and out to the driveway. It is very helpful for plugging in all the items that I use to work on my cars. The three, 3 prong plugs at the end of the cord allow for multiple items to be plugged in at once. The reel is sturdy and a bit heavy. It is very well made. There are multiple mounting options in the directions, but I highly recommend mounting on to a wall stud if possible. I like that the entire reel swivels and can be pushed flat against the wall when not in use. The reeling mechanism works fairly well. Sometimes after pulling the cord out, you need to fiddle just a bit to get the cord mechanism to grab and hold the cord in place while extended. Not a big issue and doesn't lower my 5-star rating. Cord retraction is smooth and powerful. You have to give a few light tugs on the cord to get it to retract and you also need to hold the cord to guide it back to the reel, again because the rewind is fast and powerful. There is a stopping ball attached to the cord to hold the cord in place when it is fully retracted back into the reel. Nice feature. 5 stars all the way. A great addition to any garage or basement.

Good value that eliminates cord clutter
Seems to be sturdy and well made. I think the retraction mechanism is a little putzy in terms of finding a sweet spot where it doesn't just want to retract. The mounting bracket setup seems kind of overcomplicated -- I didn't bother with the bracket you're supposed to mount, I just sunk two lag screws into a stud with just enough gap between the head and the wall stud that it locks into place when put over them. I wish this shipped with a twist-lock socket. The 3-way lighted plug is nice, but my purpose for this is to use with my electric start snowblower and it takes a generic single female extension cord plug. I cut the three way plug off and replaced it with a female twist-lock and put my single cord plug and the 3 way plug on short dongles with male twist locks so I can swap them out as needed but still pull on the cord for length/retraction.

A brand I'm begining to trust, UL listed
I had a similar cord reel from Rockler that was bought in 2016 used in the garage for general use. I recently found out that the Rockler reel has an open ground (huge safety risk) and wanted a suitable replacement. Based on the specifications, my experience with the brand, and the user reviews I settled on this one. It does live up to the claims it makes. I'm not using this in an industrial setting. It probably gets used a couple of times a month, and for that use I have no reservations. There are plenty of reviews describing the features and functionality. I'm going to restrict the review to the following two items that I think are important: 1. It is UL listed. Some comments questioned if that is real and the check is simple (sort of). All you had to do is to see if the UL website actually list this product as tested by them. The trick is that you look it up by manufacturer name. In this case it is "Longkou Dolengi Wire and Cable Co. Ltd." The product model (DL-610) does show up on the UL website. Why UL? It is for me in the US is a minimum requirement to know that the product meets performance targets and most importantly safety. Electrical items can injure, start fires (very bad ones) or even cause death. So this is very important to me. 2. This extension reel is rated for 15A. Not 20A, and would trigger the overdraw protection if you try to pull more than the rated 15A -- which is a good thing. Any power tools like table saws that may need more than 15A at startup will not work with this. It's not a fault. I have tried some Vevor products and have found them to live up to the expectations. These are not heavy duty products, but a very good and affordable option for average person's needs. I hope they will continue to stick to that unlike a similar brand (TackLife) which lost its way some years back. One last thing: everything listed was in the box including the mounting bracket and hardware.

This is great, the retract spring is strong and the steel wall bracket is of decent quality.

Only used it a couple times so far, works great, the retraction is very strong so you have to walk it back unless you want your cord whipping around possibly getting damaged. Not sure if they make a single end version but I didn’t think the triple end through so for certain tools I need to use a seperate short cord to plug in due to the way they plug in, my fault not theirs.
