Bonsai Ligustrum 7 yrs Old - 1 Tree

Great bonsai tree (but thats on first viewing, only time will tell). All leaves a healthy green. My only criticism is that it arrived soaking wet but I can understand that the seller would want the tree to arrive in it's best condition: unless of course it was raining the day it was packed. It arrived well packaged and protected. These trees were grown outside so I'm not to sure how it will do now that it's inside but as time goes by (great title for a song) :) I will update this comment so that anyone who's interested will have a better idea of how this tree will survive. Once I have decided if tree is worth the price and if it survives 'til next year and I've repotted it in a larger bonsai pot I will probably buy another one because, having purchased bonsai trees from amazon before and have them all die; I am very impressed on the size and condition of this tree. But I did not receive any instruction on how to look after this tree but fortunately I have been growing bonsai for many years and all the trees I have have been grown from seed. Adendum: This is just for those of you who may not be aware; this is a privet and not a bonifidy tree.

Absolutely delighted with this product. This beautiful specimen of a bonsai tree was delivered to my house around a week early, packaged absolutely perfectly, delivered in top quality condition, clearly in full and vibrant thriving health clearly very well cared for. When I opened it I was taken back at the beauty of it. Love the shape. It’s almost exactly as described if not better. Literally put a massive smile on my face.

This was a gift for a couple who have everything. They loved it and showed me photos of it the other day as they are so impressed with the bonsai. It is good because it comes complete on a litle stand and is ready to gift. The recipient just has to look after it as per the comprehensive instructions. Wonderful gift that I would recommend to give to the person who has everything and you do not now how to make an impression. Excellent value.

It was great for about a week. We were watering as instructed and gave it good light. One night it’s green and beautiful and the next day it’s crispy and leaves all dead. Soil basically turned mouldy from there and no leaves coming back

Plus points for this bonsai tree include; well packaged and delivered safely on time. Packaged in a way to minimise the risk of damage to the tree in transit. It comes complete with a nice porcelain pot and drip tray and was approx the size and general shape as detailed and displayed. Good clear (for translated), cultural details were included. Minus points include ; I found the tree to be quite badly scarred from the bonsai wire used to shape it - some scarring is inevitable it seems but this is quite bad and does detract from the overall appearance of the tree. The tree arrived quite dry after being so well packaged and a reasonably quick delivery time. This I put down to the "soil" or growing medium the tree is planted in - it is not the best and does not retain moisture well at all. As soon as the time is right I will repot and see what the soil content actually is. All in all three stars the price was acceptable though not a bargain.
