Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same [DVD] [1976] [2000]

Review of the Blu-ray version. It is a mix of movie with music, live concert and some backstage shots. Overall it is a pretty enjoyable film, the quality of the video is outstanding.

Typical of the time & one for Led Zeppelin fans. I saw this in the cinema in 1977/78 & had forgotten how surreal the fantasy scenes are.

The Blu Ray is a great improvement over the old DVD copy I had , great to watch and listen to LED Zep at their peak!

This is a fantastically brilliant movie capturing Led Zeppelin in their hey day. Very prompt delivery but sadly the cover was ripped on the spine under the plastic protective cover, not enough to return it just one of those things. Otherwise brilliant, the 1 less star is for the damage.

Pure nostalgia.Sat next to a girl in the cinema that I'd just met while watching this film. I've now been married to her for 35 years.Also it brought back memories of a very long day in August 1979 at Knebworth. You've not lived untill you've seen Stairway to Heaven performed live.

Wow! The transfer to the blue ray is very, very good. The sound quality is excellent and the picture quality is amazing when you consider that this was originally filmed in wet film. Some of the stuff looks like it was filmed last year at Glastonbury. The performance of Led Zepp is, of course, truly wonderful and well documented so I can add nothing of any value other than this is a seminal performance of one of the best rock bands ever. If like me you have had this on VHS, then you should get the bluray. A word of warning, there is some very bad language during backstage scenes. A classic real rock.são paulo-sp brasil
