It works and looks nice!
It works and looks nice!So because of the not so sticky Velcro people are marking this product down but it also comes with white push pins. I used four along the top and although it will leave four tiny holes which will be easy to paint over it is worth it. The screen works like magic, the dog, cat and four year old have all figured out how to get through it, it snaps shut by itself, it took five minutes to put up and not one single little fly to be seen. Also because it is white and so is the door and frame it looks nice and lets in the air and light. What more could you want for that price? It will fit any door up to the measurements as you can fold it down to size. I am thinking of getting one to cut down for the windows... as long as you have a tiny bit of common sense this is an awesome product.

You get what you pay for......
Cheap and not the one pictured.I have the one pictured on another door in my home but sadly I came to find out that this one is not the same kind. The one pictured has the magnets sewn into the front closure on either side and they open and close easily and securely. It stays closed even in a hearty breeze, and it fastens to the doorway with velcro tape (which was included in the one I already have) around the entire outside edge which is a nylon material sewn onto the screen curtain. Although it's not really important, the one pictured also has a lace valance attached to it.The one I received has no valance, the magnet closures are cheap plastic items snapped along the centre of the curtain on the outside of the trim, the "fabric" trimming the curtain looks more like interfacing fabric that has either been heat pressed or glued to the screen fabric, and the velcro stickers are just that, 12 rectangular stickers that don't stick. It also included some rather useless thumb tacks that look more like upholstery tacks.I knew it wouldn't be the same size as my door and would need modification, but there are not enough "stickers" to keep it around the door properly. Even after cleaning the door frame the "stickers" won't stay attached to it. The thumbtacks tear the fabric of the mesh, and it LOOKS cheap and nasty.I can't return it because it's been modified. My advice? Pay a bit more next time and get a better quality.

A bit flimsy.
Nopt a bad screen if you don't get much foot traffic out of and into your back garden although lining up the adhesive pads to make sure the magnets fall together correctly and it keeps flies out well. However, I woudl not recommend this if you have children or a medium upwards dog as the mesh is quite flimsy (I have both so I was constantly repairing it), but these things aside, it works quite well.

Good value and fits well
I ordered this Magnetic Insect Door Screen - White as living in the countryside we are pestered with flies in the summer. We had a similar one last year and it helped greatly by reducing flies coming into our house which was great. This year we have attached it on the outside of our back door and as its white it blends in with the door and frame so does not look out of place. It arrived with its own sticky pads and a small bag of pins. As well as an instruction sheet which is handy if you have never had one before. It was relatively quick and easy to fit, just simply attach the pads on door frame, and attach the curtain to the pads. The hardest bit is making sure you have not pulled it too tight across otherwise the magnets might not line up.It is a good width for our door and the length is plenty so a good overall fit.It has split a bit at the top since we have been using it but this could be due to children pulling it, but we have tacked it up.We had problems like this with our last one so as long as it lasts the summer season then I will be happy as it is good value.I enjoy leaving reviews to help others in their purchasing decisions and hope my review has helped today, and if it has please click the "Yes" button below my review. Good value and works well
I bought this item to fit at the doors of my sewing room, in the garden. I love to have the doors open but hate to be pestered by the little critters that seem to want to share my space! They have worked a treat.I did take note of the comments from another reviewer. He/she said they had made a hem at the top of each blind, to thread a curtain wire or piece of dowel through. I didn't need to do that. I used the existing hem and just threaded a curtain wire through this and fastened it in place on 'o' rings, at each end - I can now slide the screens out of the way, if I need to and it saves having to stick more of the velcro pads in place. I also threaded some curtain weights (the string type) through the bottom hem. I am not sure that this makes a gread deal of difference - I had it so, thought I may as well use it. This screen is doing it's job perfectly and for a VERY reasonable price. When these wear out, I will certainly buy some more! The supplier was very quick to deliver and, as I said, a fantastic price.

Only lasted 2 months... very poor.
As a screen it works very well. It is however let down by the fastenings, the velcro supplied does not adhere to the material and the magnet casings have a tendency to drop off. My screen has only been up for 2 weeks. The adhesive backed velcro sticks like the proverbial to the door frame but after a week or so the material side of the velcro lost its grip on the fabric. The magnet casings are in 2 halves, but are only a push fit. Were they to be glued, this would not be a problem.UPDATE 12/9/13Finally bit the dust today, 3 of the magnetic fasteners have fallen off, 1 has been lost completely. The material has torn in places and it looks very tatty. There is only me who uses the doorway and only a few times a day.So a very poor product. Great idea let down by the detail.
