Squeeze punch

I had some delicate filter papers that I wanted to cut down to size and this solidly made punch has proved ideal for the job. It is very well made and the scissor style action is extremely effective and very safe to use too. I also used it to cut some photos down to size so I could finally fill a number of circular frames I've had languishing in the bottom of a drawer, and it made a lovely neat job of that. No more trying to cut around a circle unsuccessfully with a pair of nail scissors, and at this price I'll certainly be buying different sizes too. A great tool for all sorts of craft tasks and excellent value for money. Delighted with my purchase

Item as described. Blade is very sharp and cuts perfectly without much effort. The edges look very professionally cut. The only thing I don't like is that I cannot cut circles in the middle if the page. The punch allows only cutting circles at the edge of a page.

Overall very good. I use it to punch papers for EPP. It punches hexies with 1"sides. The only slight issue I have is that sometimes the edges are not very neat, it sometimes doesn't cut through sharply. But mostly it does. For what I'm using it for its not too bad because I'm not using expensive papers but for those using it for cards or something it might be a problem.

I have finally bought this and have started an art project. Easy to use with paper however, care must be taken with thicker card.

And now, after making more than 1200 basted hexagons, which i finally started piecing together; i discovered why they are no longer for sale; they are crap. Literally crap. The sides of the hexagons are not the same. They range from 2,5cm to 2,7cm, making this tool about as useful as a hammer made of soapbubbles. I was so happy about this tool; making beautiful little hexagons out of catalogs and old art calendars. I don`t know if this is a badly made copy or if Fiskars actually made this crap. But whoever the maker is; i hate you so much it`s hard to breath. I want my money back.

This product is awesome. I have just started doing an EPP quilt and wanted to do it as cheaply as possible as I wasn’t sure that I would carry on with it. However, cutting the hexagons out was a real drag and they weren’t always as precise as they needed to be. I saw this on a Facebook page and decided to invest. I can honestly say it is brilliant. It will save me so much time,,,, time that I can spend doing the bit that I enjoy,,,, sewing. I would say it is well worth the money once you have decided that this is a craft that you want to continue with. Big thumbs up from me. 👍

I bought this to cut out some stickers I'd printed. Sometimes it would cut effectively and sometimes it would fail to cut on the first attempt and would mess up the edges when I repeatedly worked the action. It works OK on card so it might be the thin sticker/vinyl layer that was making it struggle. If you have the 'Goldilocks' thickness of card to cut then it's probably very good, but if it's too thin or too thick then you may have inconsistent results like I did.

I ordered this cutter as I run my own cake topper business and have a corporate client who likes their toppers printed on Wafer Card. However I found that cutting out circles not so easy and wanted an easy solution. This item is amazing it cuts through the Wafer Card with no issues and has made my job 100 times easier.

Ich bin momentan der English Paper Piece - Technik beim Quilten verfallen. Anbei eine kurze Warnung an alle Handarbeitenbegeisterten: Das hat echt Suchtpotential, also Vorsicht bevor man damit anfängt :-). Da ich mir als Vorhaben eine große Decke (mind. 2,00 x 2,00 m) zum Ziel gesetzt habe, kann man sich leicht vorstellen, was da an Hexagons, bzw. Hexis gebraucht wird (nach ungefährer Schätzung lande ich bei 1.600, Zwischenteile nur knapp geschätzt). Das geht an Papierschablonen ganz schön ins Geld. Natürlich kann man die Schablonen 3 - 4 mal benutzen bevor sie so geknickt sind, dass da gar nichts mehr läuft. Aber da ich erst einmal die Grundhexis fertig stellen möchte, um dann nach Farben sortiert mit der Bearbeitung zu beginnen, sind die Schablonen erst einmal verbraucht. Nachdem ich bereits 2 mal Papierschablonen nachbestellt habe (einzeln gesehen bei 100 Stück im Schnitt 5,00 Euro vielleicht nicht allzu viel), habe ich mir überlegt, dass es eine andere Alternative - neben Ausdrucken und mit der Schere ausschneiden - geben muss. Die habe ich nun gefunden, in Form dieser Stanzzange. Ich war erst skeptisch, ob die Hexis auch genau so groß sind wie meine bisherigen Formen, aber die positive Überraschung: Bis auf den letzten Millimeter kommt das hin! Mit 190 gr. Papier lassen sich die Vorlagen jetzt super ausstanzen, innerhalb von kürzester Zeit hatte ich 400 Schablonen fertig. Und die Zange hält wirklich, was sie verspricht. Einfach in der Handhabung, und mit dem etwas schwereren Papier sind die Kanten auch klar wie sie sein sollten. Das Einzige, was ich vor der Bestellung etwas schwierig fand: Meine Schablonen sind mit einer Seitenlänge von 1" angegeben. Ich hätte beinahe die falsche Zange bestellt, bis ich dahinter gekommen bin, dass hier der Durchmesser gemeint ist. Fazit: Wer große Handarbeitsprojekte vor sich hat, ist sicher gut beraten, sich diese Zange zuzulegen und damit unabhängig von Lieferungen und Lieferschwierigkeiten zu sein.

Questo perforatore è molto pratico nell'utilizzo e taglia molto bene la carta. L'ho acquistato soprattutto perché sono mancina e trovo già difficoltà con le forbici, con un perforatore sarebbe stato un disastro... Invece con questo qui è stato facilissimo e velocissimo tagliare i tag da legare sulle mie confezioni! E' molto resistente e comodo da maneggiare. Pacco arrivato con puntualità ed in ottime condizioni!

Functioneert goed als je alleen dun a4 papier gebruikt. Bij dikker papier of fotopapier loopt hij vast. Voor onze doeleinden hierdoor een miskoop.
