What can I say? A great surprise in a small package. I have purchased five of these so far, one for myself and the rest for family members. It is very difficult to find a good car holder and near impossible to find a decent air vent car holder. So behold the Kenu Airframe+. I had to go for the plus model as I mostly use large 5.5 inch screen phones and the smaller Kenu Airframe is for standard phone sizes. The item is not cheap by any means, this has a recommended retail price of £29.99. I first came across this company on Amazon and judging by the reviews I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. For something so small it seems so expensive. When I opened the packaging the first thing that struck me was the quality, this little thing is very well made. The back of the item which has a revolving mechanism so you can use your phone sideways if you wish has a solid rotating click to it (quite satisfying actually). Please note this style of air vent holder will not fit every car as some manufacturers have very odd shaped air vents so please check this before you buy it. But saying that this will fit most cars. Once I chose my desired spot on my dash the Kenu Airframe+ slotted into my air vent perfectly. The left side of the holder widens out in an elastic motion so you can place your handset into the holder. When you release the arm it closes and holds the phone very strongly in place (this mechanism is quite nicely hidden in the holder). After taking quite a few journeys, the holder has never dropped out of my air vent once. I have quite a firm suspension on my car, I feel most bumps in the road but the holder has performed admirably. As I mentioned before you can rotate this holder 360 degrees and it will hold any phone securely at any angle. This is one of the items which is essential for drivers and for us to drive safely and responsibly. If you have a compatible air vent in your car I don't think you will find a better holder on the market. By the way, I have read some reviews of sellers selling fake versions of this item. This is fantastic little car mount and by far one of the best i have ever bought. It exceeded my expectations by miles. It is constructed of top quality materials and very clever design - it holds my iPhone 6+ perfectly in place. I bought mine from Amazon as it was half the price of the apple store, but was so impressed I ordered a second one for my wife’s iPhone 6. it’s a tiny little phone holder, cleverly designed to hold your iPhone or Android phone firmly to the vent in your car. An absolute must have as it lets you slot your phone in using one hand, just push and slot it in place. Despite going over several bumps and winter pot-holes driving like you've stolen it it’s been held firmly. I can see almost at eye level who is calling me or follow Apple's or Googles Navigation software/directions. As well input destinations with ease or skip tracks on spotify. There’s plenty of video reviews on YouTube that will demonstrate the functionality etc - just search for “Kenu Airframe review you tube”. The good bits ---------------------------- * Will probably hold almost any smartphone in place. * Works on almost any car (see a list below) - I use it on my Mercedes S-Class with no issues at all. (doesn't fit the weird style vents in my Porsche 911 997 so don't buy it if your a Porsche owner). * Can be used with one hand. * Top quality materials - very well made and compact size. * Should keep your phone at eye level means you won't fumble around looking down or even drop your phone and watch it slide away. The Bad ---------------------- * It is expensive but you buy once and it will last you!! Don't buy anything cheaper this is the one you want trust me!!!!! Don't buy it from Apple amazon have so far been the cheapest! Will it work in my car? --------------------------- I wanted to be sure so checked through the Amazon reviews, and the following were highly rated. After a while I decided it would fit just about every car. However if your car has funky vents like some newer Mercedes do or Porsche's then you might have a problem.. I can't get this to work properly in my Porsche. It does work in my S-Class without issues. You will just need to suck it and see worst case you can probably return it... I am using it with my iPhone 6+ and have a bit of a bulky case and it works a treat! In conclusion --------------- Beautifully designed, well engineered, it’s expensive compared to the cheaper options, but it works brilliantly. It's worth every penny without a doubt. This design is simple but it is very sturdy, attaches securely to the vent and because it's profile keeps it close to the vent makes for a very stable holder, even handling my Galaxy S3 with weighty case (though with this it is on the extreme limits of it's spring loaded arms, so be mindful if you have a large device). Yes it may appear expensive for it's size but it hasn't let me down yet which given the price of mobiles these days is an important factor. It's small size also means it will not attract the attention of theives who otherwise might go looking in the window for the phone. One word of warning, there are pictures of very similar looking products on Amazon at much cheaper prices but looking at the reviews I'm not convinced they are selling the same type of product. Perhaps with more sales the cost and therefore the price of this device will come down; I for one was glad I paid a bit extra for this quality product. My only slight negative is that it could do with being able to extend to an even greater extent, given the size of phones in this day and age. For anyone who like me doesn't want to obscure their view with a windscreen mount or isn't convinced by sticky dashboard devices, this is perfect. Would thoroughly recommend.

I cannot believe that I am reviewing this product 10 years later. I was transferring into another car looking back at how long I’ve had this exact Kenu unit. It’s going 10 years strong. It still got great tension in the spring, fits onto various different cars and various different phones. Wanted to upload a quick video because this is a quality product that’s held up well.

Funziona egregiamente, lo uso su Opel Agila B ed è una meraviglia. Esattamente quello che cercavo. Ne ho provati di ammennicoli e carabattole con ventose e adesivi bracci e snodi e a parte l'orrore estetico soprattutto quando il telefono non è inserito, li ho sempre trovati poco pratici, troppo appariscenti, poco sicuri se applicati sul cruscotto e se applicati sul parabrezza troppo distanti per un pratico utilizzo del cellulare. Questo supporto è LA SOLUZIONE DEFINITIVA. Non è un semplice e fragile pezzo di plastica come sembra in foto, ma robusto metallo rivestito e gommato. Si inserisce perfettamente fra le alette dell'areatore senza rischio di rottura grazie al supporto (anch'esso gommato), è orientabile (verticale/orizzontale) basta ruotarlo senza bisogno di estrarlo, stabilissimo in marcia non si muove non traballa ne vibra, se inserito a contatto con la cornice esterna dell'areatore il telefono si può agganciare e togliere con una sola mano, tiene saldamente un S4 sia senza che con qualsiasi cover anche quella più pesante con batteria (comodissimo), ho il telefono a portata di mano praticamente accanto al volante quindi molto funzionale e essendo più vicino risponde meglio anche ai comandi vocali e infine quando tolgo il telefono, il supporto rimane li discreto quasi non ci fosse. Forse il prezzo può fare dubitare, ma ho voluto rischiare e dopo circa un mese di utilizzo posso dire non solo che sono assolutamente soddisfatto, ma che è l'unico che ricomprerei altre mille volte. Non posso che consigliarlo a tutti, non ve ne pentirete.

I've been using Kenu Airframe+ phone clamps for over 10 years in my cars. Though they're not cheap compared to other options from China, they actually work perfectly for year and they can be used in landscape and portrait mode. If you're looking for a phone clamp to install on the airvents of you car, this is by far the best solutions.

GOOD PRODUCT
