These are perfect for the corners of the cage around food bowls for my African Greys. They're just the right size for the feet of medium parrots. The sandpapery finish is good and should hold up a long time.The dimensions given were helpful; it connects about 10" from each side of the corner you put it in, so consider doors and other obstructions that might make it impossible to mount. I was lucky that it barely fit inside the door.As other reviewers mentioned, the washers aren't big enough for large parrot cages where the bars are typically an inch or so apart. I just used the larger washers off of old perches I was getting rid of, but washers are less than a dollar at the hardware store, too.

This perch is bigger than I expected but perfect. My red headed Amazon is loving being up high. The quality and size, make it a great deal! Would recommend!

Would have given a five but it’s still evil to our African Grey. It was easy to install, well made and came quickly. Will wait to add to this review if and when she deems it ok to sit on.

The media could not be loaded. I decided to get this for my Kikiriki (pocket chickens). For size comparison they are the size of a cockatiel. I got the smallest size. I turned my old dresser into a maje shift bird house. I needed something for them to rub their beak on so it doesn't overgrown. I decided to get this because I also liked the idea of being able to add a perch to my cage. It was beyond easy to install (even to my dresser bird cage). They went right to it, normal it takes them a minute with new thing. As soon as it went in they went on it. I put it in at dusk now they have decided that's where they'll be sleeping tonight.

Not as big as I thought. Washers are way to small for my cage. I need to go to home depot and buy larger washers and maybe drill bigger hole in middle if washers. I think this will work. Other than that I believed picture looked bigger for my cage.I recommend to do more research first of cage you have before you buy.
