Big Tom Spiced Tomato Juice- Bloody Mary Mix can (150ml x 24 Cans) for The Best Bloody Mary...Every time!

These are very good value the cans are 250ml under £1.30p a can and perfect to have in a fridge and indulge whenever you feel like a can. The wife and I love Big Tom tomato juice.

I've never used this to make a Bloody Mary, but i do know that it's the most fantastic tomato juice, spiced ot otherwise, that I've ever had. I have a glass of tomato juice every morning, and while i'm fairly adept at spicing up up my own, i've never equalled Big Tom. It's an absolute belter.

I've always made litre batches of spiced tomato juice to my own complex recipe, involving many ingredients, including plain tomato juice, Worcester sauce, tabasco, fresh ground black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, celery salt, mustard powder, vinegar and tawny port. I don't measure anything so it's slightly different every time. Lovely but it takes about 15 minutes to make if getting out and putting away the ingredients is counted. It's a bit tedious to say the least but worth it and it only costs £1 a litre plus a few pence for the added ingredients.I've recently bought this ready-spiced tomato juice mix for the first time when the box of 6 x 750ml bottles was on special offer here. It's absolutely lovely stuff, either on its own or as a Bloody Mary (with a double vodka) or a Red Snapper (with a double gin), all over ice. It's British made and the manufacturer is "By appointment to H.R.H.". The bottle states the ingredients to be tomato juice, celery salt, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, water, white vinegar, sugar, syrup, salt, tamarind, garlic, pepper, cloves and malt.It tastes quite different to my own mix but is just as nice. The only down side is that, at normal price, even in batches of 6 x 750mls, which is the cheapest way to buy it, it costs 4.5 x the cost of my own mix. It is, however, such a strong mix that you can mix it half and half with supermarket tomato juice, making a £2.80 per litre mix, with the lovely flavour still being very much in evidence (virtually the same in fact).Finally, for flavour, it beats any other ready-mix brands that I've tried hands down. Highly recommended for the discerning Bloody Mary, Red Snapper and Virgin Mary drinker (as long as they have fairly deep pockets).

Big Tom is absolutely the best spiced tomato juice around! Many uses as well. I use mine for a tomato base in a chilli instead of plain passata. Vegan as well, unlike other tomato juice which have Worcestershire sauce and anchovies in. 5 stars for the product. 0 stars for packaging and delivery! A box of 6 big Tom's just in a bit of bubble wrap and in amazon packaging with no "fragile" handle with care on the box. Arrived smashed to smithereens, so amazon really need to upgrade the delivery of these glass bottles. Maybe packing like wine?
