Just what I was looking for to store surplus rainwater in the garden. It's around the same price or possibly less than a large water butt but there's no danger of any leaks from faulty taps etc. No need for a tap anyway when you can fill a watering can easily by lowering it into the barrel. The lid is perfectly secure without using the metal clasp and the barrel doesn't take up much room so I'm well pleased with it.
