ProDen PlaqueOff & InFanso Dog Plaque Remover - The Ultimate Duo for a Perfect Smile!
As a pet owner who takes my dog's dental health seriously, I've been using ProDen PlaqueOff powder for some time now and have been really pleased with it. The ease of use is fantastic – just one scoop sprinkled on his breakfast each day with the provided measurer. It's completely fuss-free. Knowing it's VOHC approved and recommended by vets gave me immense confidence in its quality and safety from the start. After several weeks of use, I definitely noticed an improvement in his breath freshness and general teeth cleanliness. It's a brilliant maintenance product. However, my older dog had some stubborn, hardened tartar that the powder alone wasn't fully removing. That's when I decided to add the InFanso Dog Plaque Remover into our routine. This combination has been nothing short of transformative. While the ProDen PlaqueOff works systemically to soften plaque and freshen breath, the InFanso tool provides the mechanical brushing ability needed to physically scrub away those tough patches of tartar. Using them together has delivered results I hadn't achieved with either product alone. His teeth are now visibly whiter, the stubborn bits are gone, and his breath is consistently fresh. For any pet owner dealing with established plaque, I can't recommend this pairing highly enough. It's the ultimate one-two punch for perfect canine dental care!

Used since 2019: Vital for Toy Breeds but DO NOT Stop Brushing!
Overview: An ethically developed, scientifically backed pet dental care supplement that excels as a tartar remover for dogs by softening deposits, though it is no substitute for the manual brushing required to protect the delicate jawbones of small breeds. I have used ProDen PlaqueOff Powder for my small and toy-breed dogs since 2019. I have immense respect for the company's high standards; knowing the active ingredient was first tested on humans before being clinically studied in dogs and cats gives me peace of mind regarding its safety and ethics. However, my long-term experience has shown me that while it is an excellent dog breath freshener, its application requires a nuanced approach for high-risk breeds. The Science of Small Mouths This powder uses a 100% organic Scandinavian seaweed, Ascophyllum nodosum, which works systemically through the saliva to break down the bacterial biofilm. While my small-breed dog has sparkling teeth, my toy-breed dogl has a thin layer of tartar on two teeth. This highlights that the powder works by softening existing tartar, making it easier to remove, rather than making it vanish magically. Small and toy breeds have incredibly crowded mouths and less alveolar bone to support tooth roots. In these tiny mouths, even "minor" plaque can lead to rapid periodontal disease. While the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) has accepted this powder for reducing tartar, manual dog teeth brushing remains the "gold standard" for oral hygiene for pets. Pros & Cons Pros: 100% Organic & Natural: Sustainably harvested seaweed with no additives. Clinically Proven: VOHC-accepted for its proven ability to help remove tartar by softening deposits. Ethical Origins: Developed with human-grade standards and tested for safety across species. Effective Dog Breath Freshener: Noticeable improvement in breath within 3–8 weeks. Cons: Not a Standalone Solution: It cannot replace the mechanical force needed to clean crowded teeth in small breeds. Thyroid Warning: High natural iodine makes it unsuitable for pets with hyperthyroidism. Variable Results: As a tartar remover for dogs, its effectiveness depends on individual pet chemistry. Final Verdict I will continue to use PlaqueOff because it makes the tartar that does form much softer and easier to brush away. However, I strongly advise other pet guardians not to dispense with tooth brushing or regular veterinary dental exams. Use it as a powerful addition to your pet dental care routine, not as a total replacement!

Highly recommended for pets with dental health issues.
Our chihuahua is a nightmare for teeth brushing so this product has been excellent in assisting with his dental health. It hasn’t cleared up 100% of his plaque but has improved it massively and also helped with the fishy breath. Highly recommended!

Excellent Product !
Iv been using Pro den PlaqueOff for a couple of years now. I tried various other products over the years, but This by far beats the rest. My Vet is very impressed with my 10yo lads teeth. To be honest I thought he would say they needed a de scale at their age, but they passed their health check with flying colours. Small pot last AGES as you only need a small amount. Good value for money. Prompt delivery as always 😊

Doen't work in fountains, make strained a tea from it and keep in fridge for use in fountains.
UPDATE: My cat prefers the water fountain. Dropped a star because I tried it in a water fountain and eneded up with undissolved bits of sludge in the filtre. So I am going to make a 'tea' out of it. Steep a week's worth in boiling water for 2 hours and then strain it and after its cooled to add the liquid to water fountain. Its slow going, but my cat hasn't detected it. So easy to use, doesn't smell in water, great size, and if cat cannot taste it then its a winner. Cat has bio breath, we had his teeth descaled 3 years ago and vet ever keen to make more money, looked at his teeth saying op may need redoing, then was disappointed to find his teeth were fine. I use vet recommended kibbles to complement main food, but no way would I try to clean my cat's teeth. Its bad enough shaving matted fur wrapped around burrs and seeds. I cannot vouch for taste personall or softness, but anything else that prevent him having another operation to descale his teeth is a bonus. Cat is 14, so I don't wany him stressed with another op. Yes, I recommend, but don't expect instant results, you need to keep it up.

No longer a sceptic !
I was sceptical but the advice of a vet was to try the stuff. It’s not a remover of existing plaque that’s for sure but used everyday when feeding my cocker spaniel it appears to have arrested further build up and definitely removes bad breath. Beware though, the 180g pot suggests two scoops a day will last 9 months …. Not true. You could eek 8 months at a push , if you use it only once a day but feeding your dog twice a day doubles the usage and I don’t see the point of missing out on a meal if that’s the most likely time that plaque builds .
