1600W 4-Channel, Full-Range Amplifier AMP1604, Black

This is a great amp for the price. I was a little hesitant to purchase it but I’m truly glad I did.

I use these power in-ceiling speakers in my home. I first tried using a single amp and speaker selector as shown on the right of picture. Using these Blaupunkt Amps to power four speakers in 1-2 different zones is SO MUCH better. Using the Alexa ap, I can play different songs, at different volumes, in different zones, or have them all act in concert. The sound quality is solid and the power good at literally a fifth of the price Sonos charges. Also at the same sound output, these amps stay relatively cool compared to my SSL amp that gets quite hot. I plan on purchasing more to kill the speaker selector altogether and add some additional bedrooms.

I installed this on a boat in a covered area and it is running fine and the sound is good. I have not had the boat on water but it should be fine. I added some vibration material to dampen boat vibration. This also gives the vent holes on the bottom of the amplifier room for air to circulate. Looks like a good amp.

Great budget 4 channel amp with a lot of features. You can adjust the gain on each channel, use 2 for subwoofer and 2 for door speakers. Has HFP, LPF, and hrz adjust on each channel. Used this for door speakers and the Blaupunkt 1501 monoblock for subwoofers. Paired with an Android Stereo. For under $600 I got a bunch of sound.

At this price, it’s hard to find a better deal. Install was straightforward, set it up on a 2-channel service, output back into the car’s speaker harness - the results are amazing. Soaring highs and crisp mids, with some simple customization dials to fine tune the sound. While this unit feels sturdy and expensive, my only fear is longevity… but time will tell! Very pleased a month out.

Amp is complete garbage. I was only running four prv 6 and a half voice speakers and it sounded really good for about one song maybe one and a half sings then the amp would cut off and go into protection mode and get super hot. Everything was hooked up by a professional installer and even he said he would never do another install with this name brand. Spend the extra money and get something better

Installed this in a 2019 Rav4 with GTO 629 speakers. Pros: Clear sound Good match for GTO629 6.5" Cons: Didn't auto sense turn on with hi-level inputs. Had to use 12v remote wire. Internally wired wrong. Left and right sides were backwards. 2 channel mode was 4 channel mode and vice versa. Got this hooked up and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting sound to the rear speakers.

Great amp. Worked for my install of a couple 12" subwoofers in the back of a 240sx. Recommended- not sure if rated watts are legit, but the system sounds alright!

Good for the price

The unit is a little on the large side for putting under a seat or behind a panel, but if you have a larger vehicle it's not a problem. I'd agree with other reviews that the max RMS wattage is pretty low for a 1600W amp, only 55W. More than enough for most car installations where you want to get some scream out of your car speakers that a typical deck can't provide. However, if you're wanting to get some 100W RMS speakers to pound this is not the amp. Think more a Rockford Fosgate Prime series of speaker? The alternative inputs and adjustability of the amp was really good and simple. I'd recommend for a budget amp for sure.

Good price. Good value. Pounds the crap out if my sub-in-a-box. I'd buy another one fo sho.
