Q: Has anyone had difficulty removing the batteries? The second one does not want to come out. Any tips and safety concerns with metal rings too.

AJ I've got two of these that I use in my job as a firefighter and I've had no concerns with the metal rings. Im not sure what your concerns with them might be. As for the battery being stuck it sounds like you had a battery rupture and the contents has corroded the inside. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, it might be done. I had this happen to a different type of light previously and had to replace the flashlight.

Hello. Streamlight warrants this product to be free of defects for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs, abuse and normal wear. We will repair, replace or refund the purchase price of this product should we determine it to be defective. Thank you.
