Super Thrilled with this spot cleaner!! Also Images Attached
Highly,Highly Recommended!! My old spot cleaner (Bissell) broke and I was planning on ordering the same brand but after doing the reseach I came acrossed high rating reviews for Kenmore KW2001 spot cleaner. It was in our budget so I ordered it not knowing what to expect. (Images attached speak for themselves - we have a dog and a cat) My dog peed in the back room and I didn't discover it right away, I also had to oder and wait for this unit to come in through Amazon. That being said it was a few days before I was able to clean up the dried mess. I loved how it worked on the rug so I cleaded my couch and loveseat. The images attached are from cleaning furniture. You can see in the images how much dirt this unit picks up. Amazon did an awesome job getting it here quick (2 days). The machine is a little larger than I thought it would be BUT it is easy to carry and handle and can clean small and lardge areas. My spot was about 12" round and I consider this a small area. I used hot tap water and the cleaner that came with the unit. The spay and suction power is EXCELLENT!, and the tanks worked well retaining water as designed. It is super easy to clean out the tanks. My OLD Bissell Unit retained water under the tanks and in the hoses and it was impossible to get the remaining water out (This is why my old unit broke). But with this unit, no water remains in it after you empty the tanks. Everything stores perfectly together. It comes with a large attachment and small one, and both work great. I store the large attachment on the hose. I stored the small one inside the larger tank. The Kenmore KW2001 Spot cleaner is an Excellent, High Quality Unit - well worth the value.

Good replacement for a SpotBot
I recently purchased this to replace a SpotBot "Spot and Stain Carpet Cleaner" (model 1711, black and yellow) that lost it's keypad panel and had developed suction problems. This device's hand tool provides more suction than the former. I like that the top of the hand tool has a clip to easily clean it; the SpotBot's didn't. I also like that it has a physical button to turn on; this is much more reliable than the membrane switch on the SpotBot and should last longer. Additionally, this device includes a wider hand tool that can be used for larger surfaces; this is a nice feature. The other two things I like about this are the easy removal and insertion of the water and dirty water reservoir. The only thing I miss about my older SpotBot was the automated circular brush that allowed me to just set the unit down on the stain and the unit did all the work for me. I don't think they make any like that anymore though from my research. Honestly, I think I'd prefer things ones pros other that feature anyway. This is a great unit, is priced reasonably, and has better features than the SpotBot; feel confident buying it!

DO NOT RECOMMEND KENMORE
*update* okay, I’d definitely give zero stars if possible for the customer service of Kenmore/Sears and the manufacturer Cleva. We’ve been calling every single day having to start over with someone trying to get a replacement clean water tank. Eventually, we were sent a “form” via email that we have to print out and send back to Cleva. The form states that we must remove the label from the appliance and attach it to the form, then further states that we MUST cut the cord of the appliance and attach a photo of it with the form so the company can DECIDE whether or not they will replace the part…this whole process has been a joke. This appliance is supposed to have a 1 year warranty. A friend of mine owns an appliance repair company so I contacted him to see if he could get the part for me and I would just pay out of pocket to not have to deal with Kenmore/Sears and Cleva anymore. There is absolutely no way to purchase parts for this appliance outside of Cleva. He also informed me that in his 20 years of appliance repair, Kenmore/Sears is known to have the worst customer service and do whatever possible to just take your money, to the point that he refuses to even work with them anymore. At this point, our expectation is that we are stuck with a $150 broken appliance that’s going into the trash and we are NEVER buying from Kenmore again. *original* I bought this shampooer 6 months ago and it has been phenomenal for its purpose. Easy to dump/clean, great suction, overall was very happy with it. Although I’ve had the product for 6 months, it’s not an every day use appliance, so I’ve maybe used the shampooer a total of 6-7 times. The last couple uses, I noticed a little puddle of water left behind where it sat on the floor during use. Didn’t think too much of it at first until I pulled the clean water tank off to get it ready and there are cracks all over from the inside of the tank. The cracks have spread down all sides of the tanks and the water leaks out everywhere. There’s been no damage to cause it, and you can see the cracks began from the inside (you can’t fully open this tank, so there’s no way to damage the inside of it that I can tell), I have no idea why it’s suddenly cracking all over, unless it was cracked when I bought it and just didn’t notice until they started to spread and leak so heavily. Upon calling customer service, we were informed that it IS a replaceable part but that they don’t have it stocked. We were told they were going to quickly contact their buyer for parts and then call us back. We’ve yet to hear back from them as to whether or not we can replace the tank. The shampooer was GREAT while it worked, which is the only reason I gave the 2 stars. However, I paid $150 for a shampooer I was able to use about 6 times. Where’s the customer service? An appliance is this cost should be under warranty at least a year and shouldn’t be no functioning after 6 months of irregular use.

This vacuum had to of been made by a woman- it’s perfect!
I did a lot of research on shampoo vacuums and I am SHOCKED there was zero articles recommending this vacuum! The main items I look for in shampoo vacuums are their reliability, function, and (the most important) how easy they are to clean once you finish using it. When I say this vacuum had to of been designed by a woman, I’m talking about how easy this vacuum is to clean! I have sensory sensitivity and a huge sensitivity for me is touching wet hair! It actually makes my spine tingle and makes me want to throw up! Everything from the handle, the dirty water bin, and the hose can come apart so you can reach all of the dirt and other debris. The handle piece is hard to take apart, but it is super easy to put back together. It’s also not very loud, apparently that’s a huge pro for some people, I personally don’t care as long as it sucks up all the icky stuff. As far as function, I don’t have any complaints, it works just as fine as other brands and types of shampoo vacuums I’ve used. The one major con for me is after using it for a while my wrist and hand hurt really bad, but I admit it’s a me problem for using it on my huge sectional sofa (all the cushions, the inside of the sofa, the sides and back of the sofa plus every side of the matching ottoman), all 3 bedrooms (against the baseboards where my normal vacuum can’t reach), a king sized mattress, a twin mattress, a toddler mattress, 10 standard sized pillows (don’t do this on pillows, it’s ridiculously challenging and was all user error), a loveseat chair, and all of my patio cushions… imma be honest I was just really into this thing! With as much as I did in like a weekend’s time, I can say it held up like a champ! I mixed Bubba’s Rowdy Friends neutralizer in it to clean up cat ruin smells and stains (we have 3 cats and one is a jerk and pees everywhere except her litter box) and if you have cats and are looking for the combo to knock out the old and new urine stains it’s this vacuum and Bubba’s Rowdy Friends! I’ve noticed the spots of cat urine I cleaned up using Bubba’s that the cat that is peeing everywhere will not pee there for a while! Customer service aspect- now I read the bad reviews about the product being broken and getting the runaround by customer service… so this is my second vacuum lol, the first one had tiny holes in the hose and I did not notice it until after I used it and went to clean those hose and water spurted everywhere! I notified Kenmore first to see if it was covered under warranty, but the hose is not a replaceable part. I reached out to the seller on Amazon and they issued a replacement and sent the shipping info to return it. I got the replacement like the next day. Overall I think this vacuum is amazing and the price is very affordable. I am recommending it to all of my friends and family!

No lie, this is the best spot cleaner unless buying a Mytee
I have no idea why nobody is raving about this machine. I paid a hair over $100 (fall '23) for this Kenmore because they listed their suction rating, and it's fantastic for the price. I have had a mobile detail business for 30+ years. While this is no where near my pro Mytee professional shampooer with heating element and suction. But it also does not cost $1000+ or the size of a dorm fridge with the weight to match it. Bought this mostly because I always need a quick easy spot cleaner or even something easy to grab at home for the rare pet accident. I have tried 2 Hoovers (instantly returned) and had the little green guy from Bissell that most buy on Black Friday or prime day. But all those barely pulled any water back up when you see how much water is put down. And if they can't pull 80% or more of the liquid back up that they put down, YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR PETS PEE OUT OF THE CARPET! Might look like the stain is gone, but it's not. Then there is this Kenmore pet stain cleaner. While I am only using the small head to clean with for better suction (includes a larger head too.) It's a great little machine, so far. It has its flaws in design of fill and emptying. Yet, where it counts. SUCTION, it's the best of all these under $300 machines. It has an almost shop vac like suction at the hose, and only drops a little suction with the head attached. It sprays water as good as any of these all plastic cleaners. There is no heat, but hot tap water is fine for most jobs. And while Sears seems to be gone. Kenmore was one of the best brands for quality that I hope still holds true. My Kenmore water heater is still doing well at nearly 10 years old now. Now for the flaws in design. It's nothing major. But why do most pet cleaners use a tiny fill hole. Do "O" rings cost companies so much more than the general public. I have the big kitchen industrial sprayer in my house and it would have been nice had Kenmore gone with at least a 3 inch hole for filling. And the dirty water tank has a lip around the lid that will not allow an easy exit of the dirty water. But with a fully gasketed dirty water tank. That is why this thing really sucks. Just be sure to keep it very clean. Stray dog hair or debris will quickly kill the suction advantage. At least they used day glow orange to help you see and easily clean the dirty tank. So why do people not know or recommend this Kenmore pet cleaner. Not sure, I was several pages in when I found it. YouTube was nearly useless, just a dad reviewer. Other reviewers like it, but must be paid/"influenced" more by Hoover and Bissell to push their products. I spent real money, did click the coupon that was in the listing to save $20, and actually used this when I needed to clean a few spills. It worked better than expected and I like to give credit to those who earn it. I love leaving bad reviews for those bad items too. But look at my review. No VINE free item for this review. It's a good product that is better than their competitors and you should consider it if you need a really good pet/spot cleaning machine.

Possible remedy to some bad reviews
I wanted to give the Kenmore a review, and possible remedy to other reviews that have had problems with a malfunctioning spray system. First, I've only used it a couple of times, and am very impressed with the suction and cleaning ability, but I've read some reviews that the spray lines have stopped working, and I have a possible solution... I, for one, will not be putting any carpet cleaning solution in the onboard water supply. I will use a separate water spray bottle mixed with a cleaning solution to saturate any soiled spot I wish to remove. Is it possible that those who are having problems with the sprayer may not be cleaning or purging the water line after use with fresh water? Some solutions can cause a caulking, or collective film when dried causing the lines to clog up because the lines were not purged properly to get the solution out of the water line. To keep from having clogged water lines, only use fresh warm water, with no solution in the water tank of the unit. For those who have low suction problems, make sure all filters and hose lines are free from obstructions such as lint and debris, and make sure the containers are placed firmly in the unit so it can establish a good suction. I hope this helps with some problems listed in some reviews. I hope this is the reason for their issue, and I hope this unit continues to work as well as it has for me.

Great product, Poor QC. If you're handy, you can trouble shoot it and save a return (possibly)
Why I bought it. This is a very nice product. Why 3 stars? Hear me out. I have been looking for an economical solution for my pet's very infrequent (every other year or so) incontinence on the carpet. This popped up and I read the reviews, watched the Youtube videos and decided on this. The main thing I gathered from it was that the spray nozzle oftentimes did not work or would fail to work. Getting it for the bargain price of $99 was a no brainer for me. With the caveat that I may get a lemon like others out there. First Impression Sure enough, I got a lemon! Ordered it and got it the next morning, hooked everything up and bam, the clean water/solution nozzle did not work. I was pretty set on just returning it and MAYBE getting another one, then I decided, let's pop it open and see if something was just ajar or if the tubing was kinked. It was about 3 panels to open it all up and expose the clear poly tubing. It appeared to be kinked at some point, so I redirected it and closed it back up. Boom, it worked perfectly. Functionality. This is a powerhouse of a vacuum. In conjunction with the separate gray water and clean water tanks, removable nozzle guards and portability, it's a keeper. Using the recommended Kenmore cleaning solution, it cleaned up two stains that had occured around 5 or 6 days ago. We tried to clean with resolve foam and scrubbing etc etc, but the stains and smell would not go away. Today, being Saturday and a day off, I was able to test out the machine and it worked great. Once I had it working, it performed quite well. the stains and smell were easily removed. Summary Overall, this is a very functional and budget friendly solution for pet and non pet home owners. I would give it more of a 3.5 or 3.8 rating. It would have gotten a 5 if the QC was on point and I didn't have to service it myself. I almost gave it a 4, but I wasted time on something that should not have been an issue on purchase. That and the fact that others online have had the same issue. That being said, I know how to open the darn thing and trouble shoot it. I hope it serves my household for sometime. Kenmore, you were always a household name for me growing up in the 80's and 90's, Step it up, we have seen too many American brands fall off the wayside. Make us proud! ;)
