It works easy to fire

I bought this as it looked sturdy so wouldn't break easily. I got it so the grandchildren could fire some bread in the pond for the ducks, as they are frightened when the ducks come near them, but the elastic is too strong for me and them to be able to use it. It is well made and not flimsy.

The manufactring process seems to pay less attention to the grain of the wood, allowing weaknesses in some individual items. It's a good product if you get one without grain imperfections.As a low cost toy, it's absolutely brilliant - you could even reduce the strap power for your kids to use.Holds wonderfully in the hand and is comfortable and easy to use. The pouch is a little bit small but it's entirely usable.It arrived with a small quantity of green powder on - probably a wood treatment agent - requiring a light wash before use.

On the 5-6th attempt to hit a tree one of the elastics snapped. Hunting in the title a tad over generous unless the victim (possibly a rabbit) was already dead and lay by the road after been fatally hit by a car first perhaps?

Wow, quite amazed at the power this little catapult puts out. Very impressive. Nicely built in a lovely grained wood. Great for scaring unwanted visitors to the bird feeder.I shoot to scare not to maim.
