Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder - Pressed Shimmer Face Makeup Compact for a Golden Glow. Shade: 24CT Gold

I discovered this highlighter totally by accident about 7 years ago while shopping for cheap toiletries and sunscreen in a local “bodycare” store.. when I say that it’s been my ONE AND ONLY highlighter product since then whenever I put on makeup, I am 100% genuine. I have a very pale complexion and my general skin tone is very VERY cool in tone- my skin is very translucent and bare skinned you can see my veins and blood vessels so I often joke that if my skin looks white rather than blue, then I have got a tan! Because this product is very cool and white in its colour, I am able to contour and highlight my makeup without looking like I have been tangoed.. I would advise that if you are anything other than very fair complexion of red hair or naturally platinum blonde, then you should use the product sparingly and only apply under the eyes to brighten any dark circles , to the upper brow to highlight the brow line and maybe the tip of the nose as part of contouring.. I use this instead of translucent powder as part of a contour and not look washed out or “grey “ , but I think generally most people will still find it just as an amazing addition to their makeup routine as a very liberal and super super bright white highlight.

I haven't used many highlighters but the ones i have, have ranged between drugstore prices and high end. I really like this highlighter because it doesn't contain any glitter (personal preference) but give a really nice shimmer to cheek bones. The powder provides good coverage but not too strong which allows you to build up coverage to your desired effect. The only negative I could say is that on my skin it can show quite white and ghostly if applied too much but when blush is brushed over the top it brings a more natural finish.Particularly for the price (bought for £2.15) I find this completely affordable and excellent value.

I wasn’t expecting too much as this is a cheap highlighter.Pros--very cheap-looks decent as nose highlighterCons--drying-looks bad as cheek highlighter-can see it from front view-(cheek highlight)-looks bad on inner cornersOverall, I wouldn’t really recommend this highlight if you want it for your cheeks, if you want something subtle and cheap for your nose contour I would recommend this! And please remember that this is based off my experience, and my opinion.
