I love the whole kit, the only thing I'd improve is putting the names of the colors on the individual little pots to make things a little easier

This watercolor paint set is okay. I am new this year to watercolor and am no expert in it, but I cannot say this will be my favorite brand to use. I have no major issues with it; I just feel there are better brands out there. I do seem to have to use more water than normal to get color off the cakes, and some of the colors I have used are so faint, I feel I am using more paint than normal.Other than that, this is a nice set. It would be great for one beginning in watercolor or children as it has the basics needed to get started. The tin storage case is very sturdy, and the inside can be used for a palette. There is a good selection of colors. You get brush pens, a sponge, a color swatch sheet, and a paintbrush that is of decent quality. They even provide an extra tube of white paint, which is an added bonus. It is not a terrible set. I would just shop around for pricing before choosing to get this one again.

Is ok for kids, the neon colors doesn’t have almost any pigments , the metallic are more like shimmer colors, the watercolors seems made with dye instead of pigments. I have better ones for the same price or less.

This is a large metal paint tin with two folding mixing trays. Holds 48 half pans.Has a few 'neon' colors, a few metallic colors, broad range of greens and blues, and the full range of other colors. Color variety is really strong with this set. There is also a tube of white and a white accent pen.The colors are named on the color chart, but the half pans have no label or marking. So there is no indication of lightfastness or stability. No confirmation of the pigment mix in each.Kit includes two reservoir brushes, and a flat square brush. One round sponge.Product description is correct and accurate. Students and amateurs will enjoy this set. Professionals would use it for sketches and studies, not finished pieces due to the presumption of fugitive colors.The neons and metallics in this set are fun and more unique. Having three whites (pan, tube, and pen) facilitates a range of contemporary styles.This is better suited to an artist still exploring multiple techniques and colors.I'll give this a strong recommendation. Five stars for a causal or amateur artist.

In addition to the 48 colors, you get 2 water brush pens, 5 water color notecards, a swatch sheet, a tube of white watercolor - so handy, a sponge and paint brush!This would be a great starter set for a youth, or anyone just wanting to try out various techniques.The colors are in individual little pans that can be rearranged, or removed from the tin case. They are dry cakes, not semi-moist. The back of the box (pictured) shows a swatch of the colors along with the color name.I’ve used the set twice, and no issues with the watercolors. It’s not my normal art media, but I’ve enjoyed painting with this set.

I am loving this watercolor set. There is so much to love. The case is metal- which is durable and easy to clean. It comes with a color chart that fits inside the lid. The colors are rich and vibrant and there is 48 colors- so such a good variety. The colors mix easily with water so you can create the perfect value- from faint color to a rich deep tone. I like that a sponge and brushes- with water reservoir for squeezing out water as you paint. A good quantity of paint is provided for each color so I will be using this for a good while. Very pleased with this watercolor set.
