Learn something new.
Easy introduction to stained glasswork, except in plastic. Nicely presented but more box than contents. Quite expensive I think.

A good idea but not for too young children.
Was a little disappointed with the paints. They give rather a thin coating. Also the lead strip is hard to cut into four long strips as it is only 1/4 inch wide.I think children would find this very difficult. I liked the votive glass, box and roundel. I think this product would be much improved with pre-cut lead strips and maybe one or two pre printed sheets to get used to painting.

Good kit, but pricey for what you get.
Firstly, whoever assembles the items into the box needs their head looking at. The two votive glasses were smashed in the first delivery. In the replacement delivery they were intact but on both occasions they were rolling around the box. Apart from the two glasses, you get a small postcard size clip frame, a very cheap brush (looks like what you get in a kiddies paint set from poundland) and a few tiny pots of paint. Not sure all that is worth over £16. Now for the delivery. First one that was broken had the box delivered in a brown paper bag. For an item that clearly states it has glass in it. Second delivery, the box was unpackaged, address label stuck to the bottom. To stop the lid falling off the box there are two circular stickers, on this second delivery both stickers had come undone. Nothing had fallen out. Dire experience buying this item. Avoid, go and find something similar in a local shop.

I've bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson who has suddenly decided he likes craft projects. As I think its good to encourage this type of activity I've purchased it rather early !!
