NANOGEN Thickening Hair Treatment Shampoo for Men 240ml

Men's Shampoo products are a bit of a minefield. Not helped by reviewers who give one star ratings on the basis that they didn't regrow all their hair that they had when they were 16 and on the other end reviewers wildly exaggerating their claims. First you shouldn't be purchasing any shampoo thinking it's going to regrow your hair especially if you have male pattern baldness. What they can do is give your hair a thicker fuller appearance. Not by a huge amount, lets say you can expect your hair to look 10-20% better. Compared to your bog standard supermarket shampoo that leaves your hair flat and dry. So Why Nanogen? Price - The price point is more reasonable than most hair loss shampoo's and it performs equally if not better than more expensive brands. Good Quality Ingredients - Argan oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe, Chamomile, Salicylic Acid, Keratin Gentle on the Scalp - A lot of hair loss shampoo's can be too harsh and either dry out your hair or leave your scalp overly dry and flaky. At least for me i haven't experienced this with Nanogen Shampoo. UK Based Company - There's so many hair loss products from all over the world with god knows what ingredients in. At least with a British company there's some assurance of quality. Better Than a Basic Shampoo - If your hair is thinning but you still have good coverage this will make your hair look better than a generic bottle of supermarket shampoo can. The higher quality ingredients will give you a better chance of strengthening the hair you currently have while making a slight improvement to the appearance of your hair.

I must start off by saying that this item isn't going to solve your pattern boldness. What i will say is those that find their hair is thinner than it used to be, this may help you. I started using this product about 6 months ago and yes I have seen results but not that hair has started growing back, but rather hair has become stronger and also looks thicker. I would recommend you wash your hair first with a generic shampoo and then use this product after as that way you only need to use the smallest amount and isolate it to the area needed most. It smells minty and also leaves you with a soothing cooling sensation on the scalp. I would definitely recommend this product to those that know what they are looking for.

I have used the hair fibres from the same company so I gave this shampoo a go also. It smells great, I don't know how well the thickening effects though, but I do have fine hair. It feels more like, it's just a nice regular shampoo than a treatment for thinning hair.

Great product, has helped me big time!

This shampoo makes your hair very soft and fluffy, the scent is similar to YSL's La Nuit De L'Homme EU de toilette with a hint of menthol. Don't use too much shampoo in one go because it will irritate your head but other than that its decent shampoo. It is also very good at lathering up and I would say my hair feels thicker.

I’ve used this for years, really good shampoo. It cleans hair and scalp really well and leaves hair full and soft.

This is a great shampoo to avoid thinning hair. Previously I was using the shampoo/conditioning version of Nanogen which also is great. It was prescribed/recommended by my hair surgeon. It cleans hair without drying out one’s hair.
