Over the last 35 years I have amassed a large number of watches including many designer ones. The majority of our watches have stopped working for one reason or another and instead of paying to have them repaired, we have purchased a new one. I have a real gold watch that I had to stop wearing because the battery ran out and every jewellery shop I visited were not willing to change the battery because they were concerned that the soft gold metal would be damaged when they tried to remove the back. I also have a stunning designer watch that was too big for my wrist and it was really expensive to have some of the links removed. I have now lost weight and dropped down two clothes sizes so I need to have more links removed. I saw this portable watch kit on Amazon and thought it was worth buying it to see if my husband could then do his own watch repairs at home. The kit arrived promptly and I was really impressed with the quality. The case is well made and stores all the bits and pieces securely, each tool having its own compartment. After doing a bit of research on the internet, my husband started with attempting to remove a couple of links from my watch strap. Within minutes he had completed the task and found it really easy and straight forward to do. There is no stopping him now. He has changed the battery in my gold watch (without marking the back!) and also started taking some of the older watches apart and bringing them back to life again. This portable watch repair tool kit has given my husband a new and enjoyable hobby and is saving us money in the process. When I bought it it looks like perfect tools for watches, however it didn't help me out as they promoted. If your watch is twisting, screwing then is fine. Mine had to pull out the back lids, so after opening 3 watches to change the battery, I couldn't close it back as you need to have a different tool - like a pressing thing with different nozzle (different sizes) , which would help you to close the watch. This tool on Amazon cost around 15£ . So at the end of the day with 30£ I could exchange all my watches battery and I would still have some money left.

A useful little kit for minor repairs, the quality is not the best the case opening knife is too thick to fit under any of my watch cases, and the pin remover is pretty poor but this kit is still worth the money and it will soon pay for itself.

Very high quality set of tools. Everything you need. Took the back off my watch and changed the battery in less than a minute. My local jeweller charges 7 euro's to do the same job. Excellent value for money.

As with a lot of things in general, mending something is easy if you have the right tools and a right nightmare if you have to bodge it. This set is great value for money and offers every tool I'd think I'd ever need to tinker with my watches (add/remove links, change battery's, etc). It has a wide variety of tools with different sizes so you're able to work with the majority if big name brands as, of course..., there's no real standard across the industry with regards to pin/screw sizes! Happy customer.

Tools good quality for the price, exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, our expensive watch back, still wouldn't budge. Great zipped case to hold everything. I'm sure it will come in useful in the future. I did use the tools to change links in a watch strap and conrary to some belief, it worked perfectly. I think that job took a quarter of the time, it would have taken me using the usual 'come in handy' tools. (and no hassle) Would highly recommend. Thanks Seller, Chris

I should have known better as you do get what you pay for! Three of the watch case opener pins were broken. The case opener main screw was barely moveable, when I did manage to turn it, a shard of metal came off the thread as it must have been cross threaded. In addition the pin holders wobble in the mounts with too much play in the mechanism. You would not want to put this toool on a high quality watch back as it stands a good chance of slipping and scratching the back. In addition to the defects the whole kit I received was of low quality. On a slightly possitive note; for the price some of the other tools are probably quite useable. Given by some of the better reviews it does make me wonder if some people have received a better or different item. I have returned the item.

the link remover feels like as if it were made out of butter, and lasts as long. If you want this to size or change a strap once or twice it is ok I guess, but after that bits will break! Still, it is cheap so what can you expect. Does the job...but only just!

My hobby is repairing watches and this set has everything I need. Lots of small tools and all the right equipment for a great price. I've often seen sets like this for at least twice the price.

Bastante bien para el precio que tiene, trae todo lo necesario para hacer nuestros pinitos con la relojería, como cambiar las pilas o quitar y poner pulseras nuevas o eslabones a las cadenas. Trae bastantes puntas de repuesto, tanto para la herramienta de apertura de la tapa trasera como de los enganches de los eslabones. La funda de transporte es cómoda y resistente. Recomendable
