Q: How do we know this hasn't been tampered with/hacked?

Be careful, because a sealed box is no great trouble to a malicious seller who can easily make thousands off each dodgy device... Looking at the reviews here for Trezor and Ledger I'm highly inclined only to purchase direct from the companies.

Yes, OMG is an EC20 coin (basically Ethereum based) and this device stores it perfectly via MyEtherWallet.
