Perfect for home or small office networks, with semi-managed options and link aggregation
Very well made switch with optimal connection stability and easy to use but yet powerful firmware settings.If interested in using for a link aggregation scenario, keep in mind it offers static lags only (up to 4 of 1 to 4 ports each) but not lacp supportAside of that, a very good device with a fast and responsive technical support when needed and timely software updates

Great upgrade to home network
Took a while to configure with clashes over IP addresses with router but worked through it logically and now all up and running on a Cat 6 home network - around 15 wired devices connected - till a few more to go -has made my home network manageable, secure and fast. Bought to rep,aced an old 8 port switch - great purchase!

I got 99 Problems but the switch ain't one
Good managed switch... Silent...Has lifetime guarantee. (That's what the Prosafe bit means).I like

Nothing but problems
Returned this switch after I had nothing but problems. I discovered a lot of devices kept going “missing” on the network or becoming unavailable. For example, I had an Airport Time Capsule connected and Mac’s kept saying the back up disk was unavailable. I had a Philips Hue which kept saying my accessories couldn’t be found. After upgrading the firmware, resetting many times, I finally gave up. Returned and bought a TP Link 24 port switch and that has worked flawlessly. Maybe I just had a faulty unit, but it was 2 weeks of frustration and Netgear support was non-existent. I did purchase from Warehouse Deals so maybe someone returned it after having issues also.
