Handy to keep in your first aid kit.
**UPDATE 06/11/13: One year on**Fast forward a year and I've used up two of the five pods I originally bought. Funnily enough back at the Great Dorset Steam Fair this year and it was incredibly dusty there I inevitably got some of it in my eyes. I snapped off one of the pods and got my boyfriend to rinse my left eye out for me. It did the job, rinsed and soothed it! I should also add that to the untrained eye, the pods don't look that big, but blimey! There is more than enough saline solution per pod to do both eyes. I always give my eyes a thorough rinse out yet there is always some saline solution left over in the pod. It feels like a waste but what can you do?Checking the expiry date on them, these will last me until 2016, so I will have them for a good while yet, I must add!In a nutshell, an essential for the first aid kit. It has prevented me from getting eye infections and soothes the eye at the same time.Definitely recommend!+++++++++++++++++++++Bought these after I was on holiday at the Great Dorset Steam Fair and got lots of dust in my eyes and got an eye infection. At the time I didn't have these in my first aid kit so had to visit the first aid department to get my eyes washed out. Learned my lesson! I now keep five pods in my first aid kit for future use so they're always on hand.

Great value first aid essentials
This is one of those essentials for an home first aid kit or even a larger kit on a building site. Saline pods to wash out debris or foreign objects from the eye are so useful even when gardening or mowing. Weβve used one already and its exactly as good as you expect with an easy open which is sealed when you receive them to maintain sterility, when opened you get a fairly narrow aperture which is great to direct the flow into the affected part of the eye. I will be buying more when i run out of these or they go out of date. Its worth checking your medical kit for dates on equipment just to make sure you arenβt trying to use out of date medicine or plasters

Bigger than expected, not as portable as I'd hoped. Maybe 2 sizes would be better.
Very large bottles, I was hoping for smaller bottles so I can hide them in my handbag. But you'd be glad of the large volume of saline inside if you got dirt in your eye in a SHTF situation. Good for bugout bags despite the bulkiness. A small and large size would be better, so customers can choose the size that best suits their needs.

good stuff
this is a very low priced but essential part of any first aid kit be it for your car or home splashes in the eye are common in cooking or maintaining your car I have some of this great product in the kitchen and my car first aid kit having had paint, grinding dust and even fat from a deep fat fryer in my eye over the years I always like eye wash close at hand your eyes are vital for life so being able to wash your eye very quickly after an accident is crucial so for a few pence peace of mind is achieved I'll always have this close at hand

Good for work and play and I always keep some with me.
I used to use these for my contact lenses and always carried a few as emergency eye-wash, so it's good to see them being sold specifically for that purpose.I always carry some with me even though I mostly wear glasses now, as they are useful for dust in the eyes or wound cleaning when out and about. PERFECT as they are self-contained individual, sealed 'portions', so you only need to open the number that you need. Not like other proprietary eyewashes which mean opening a bottle (which once opened then begins to deteriorate) and cost a fortune.I've already given some to friends so will need to buy more!

Eyemergency
We had one of these in our first aid kit but had to use it on my eye as i had an infection. looked on line and found this item so we can replace the one out of our first aid kit.It can be used for cleaning cuts and minor and scrapes as well, so keep some in the car for emergencies.good product to have with you especially when on holiday or just a day out as the bottles take up no room at all.
